Then you'll need to pass args to dh_auto_*

dh_python2 doesn't call setup.py, the build system (python_distutils or
pybuild) does, which one are you using?

I'm not specifying one, so I suppose it is python_distutils?

Pass arguments to setup.py with dh_python2

2018-03-28 Thread Scott Talbert

Hi,

I've got a package where I need to pass an argument to setup.py as part of
the build process. Is there a way to do this with dh_python2, ie, without
using overrides?

Request joining DPMT

2018-03-28 Thread florian grignon
Hello,

I would like to join DPMT.

I'm maintaining one python package that I would like to team maintain
(python3-anosql). For this goal, I'd like also to join the DPMT salsa group
to move the git repository to the DPMT salsa group.

My alioth and salsa login are: flog-guest

I have read the DPMT Policy
https://python-modules.alioth.debian.org/policy.html) and I accept it.

Have a good day,

Requesting team membership for DPMT on Salsa

2018-03-28 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi,

I failed to find a button to ask for membership in the Salsa web
interface for DPMT. Please add me since I contributed to some python-*
packages in the past and would like to keep on contributing. :-)

It would be nice if the permissions would enable me creating new
projects.

Thank you

   Andreas.

New upstream version of python-xlwt

2018-03-28 Thread Raphael Hertzog
Hi,

ccing maintainers of reverse dependencies of python-xlwt. We
switched to a new upstream version (0.7.5 -> 1.3.0) so you might
want to check that your packages are still working with this new
version (rows, python-pandas,

This change was not good. The embedded antlr.py is patched
for xlwt. See https://github.com/python-excel/xlwt/issues/73

This change thus got reverted and I uploaded the resulting package
with a few more cleanups.

AFAIK it's OK to not use git-dpm. However it seems that the team
documentation would need an update... also since we haven't documented
the switch to salsa either.
