Fwd: Request to join the DPMT

2019-06-13 Thread Andrius Merkys
Hello,

some time ago I've requested to join DPMT as 'merkys' (DD). I used to have
write access as 'merkys-guest', which could be revoked now.

Best,
Andrius

Subject: Request to join the DPMT
To:

Hello,

I would like to rejoin the DPMT using my DD account. My new Salsa login
is 'merkys'. The old one, 'merkys-guest', should be removed from the
team. Inside the team I will maintain my Python packages and upload new
ones.

I have read the policy [1] and I accept it.

Best,
Andrius

You can visit https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/ there are whole package
that need help.
There are some python packages where you can help.

Also, you can search some package to contribute here:
https://qa.pages.debian.net/distro-tracker/contributing.html

Also, searching on bugs.debian.org  (filtering) you will found a lot of
bugs to solve.

Also, if you use or contribute on some module e.g. scikit-learn, Flask,
django, etc.
You can contact to the maintainer or the team, and you can say them if
they need help.

This way I start (and continue) contributing on python debian packaging :-)

regards

RFS: mu-editor 1.0.2+dfsg-3

2019-06-13 Thread Nick Morrott
Dear team,

I've just uploaded mu-editor 1.0.2+dfsg-3 to PAPT to fix #930270 [1]
and was wondering if someone might have some time to review and
upload, so that I might file an unblock request with the release team
for buster.

Many thanks,
Nick

project to update any project that has lot of dependencies that need to be
updated and packaged, i was looking for that type of packages.
