1.4.0 was just released yesterday. Tracker needs a bit of time to
update all the infos shown. 1-2 days aren't unusual and not directly a
bug in it.

Now it shows the new upstream version.

The general meaning of the tilde is that it's lower then the empty
string.
So that 1.0-1 is considered newer then 1.0-1~foo

Great. Thanks!

I found now the merge request from Yao Mei to the policy.
I have now a working setup with gbp.
But I noticed that the pyotherside git repo on salsa uses master branch
not debian/master. How do I rename it on salsa? I can't find anything
there.

want to join DPMT

2018-11-18 Thread Felix Zielcke
Hi,

I want to join the DPMT to salvage and maintain the pyotherside
package. See #912720 and the RFS #912739
I'm just a DM not a full DD and I haven't yet found a sponsor.
The package git repo is already moved to salsa under the DPMT umbrella.
I just created a salsa accont: fzielcke-guest

Also I have read and accept your policy [1]
I have no experience with debian packages in a git repository. And I
wonder why your policy stats that git-dpm is favoured. In the
pyotherside salsa git there's a commit by Ondřej Nový that it has been
converted to gpb layout [2]
So I'm a bit confused.

Thanks in advance

Felix
