I'm happy for you to take python-levenshtein (or co-maintain). It's just that 
I'm
using it in lintian-brush, so don't want to see it go away. :)

Sorry about that. I did fix my scripts a while ago, but I still need
to go over older uploads to adjust the tags. Hoping to get to that in
the next week or so.

Yeah, this is already happening.

If the janitor starts making other sorts of changes in the future,
I'll check in here first rather than just enabling those.
