Shifting GNU-khata from gitlab to salsa

2018-09-03 Thread Manas Kashyap
Hola everyone ,

I was going through GNUKhata for updating it , and i found out , this
package is on gitlab(1) rather than salsa , so as talked with Praveen i was
thinking to shift it to salsa now , and update it accordingly with the new
version.

As its a python based package , so i just wanted to know if the python team
would like the package under their team for maintenance or Praveen and me
was thinking to create a new team named as *gnukhata-team *for maintianing
this package and packages related to GNUKhata .

So, if python team would like to move it under their team , please let us
know and hopefully we can help out too, so that the updating of GNUkhata
can be done as soon as possible once it is in salsa.

Thank you

Error in updating and building kivy package

2018-07-29 Thread Manas Kashyap
Hi , I am Manas Kashyap , an Active Debian contributor . I was going
through Kivy package and i thought to update it and maintain it , i have
changed its debhelper and standard version , and created a merge request
https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/modules/kivy/merge_requests/1 for that
as i am not added in Debian python contributor list .
While building package i am encountering an error , as per my knowledge the
changes are made and so they have to be a new patch for it , so should i
create one or is there some other error , which i don't know .
error is http://paste.debian.net/1035689/

Any help would be great.
