* Create an account on salsa and click "request to join" on the team page: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/applications * Change the Vcs-* tags in debian/control to point to: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/applications/buildbot * set the Maintainer or Uploaders in debian/control to: Python Applications Packaging Team Setting PAPT as Maintainer means anyone on the team can upload, etc. directly. Setting PAPT as Uploader and yourself as Maintainer: means that you want people to check in with you before making changes. .hc Robin Jarry: > Hi all, > > after some discussions on https://bugs.debian.org/883529, Martin Borgert > suggested that buildbot becomes maintained by the Python Applications > Packaging Team. > > That sounds like a good thing to have more than one person able to work > on this package. > > I am currently working on buildbot (both upstream dev and Debian > packaging), I have read the Debian Python Policy and I'm not sure how to > proceed for joining the PAPT. > > Thanks for your guidance. >
Buildbot maintenance by PAPT
Hi all, after some discussions on https://bugs.debian.org/883529, Martin Borgert suggested that buildbot becomes maintained by the Python Applications Packaging Team. That sounds like a good thing to have more than one person able to work on this package. I am currently working on buildbot (both upstream dev and Debian packaging), I have read the Debian Python Policy and I'm not sure how to proceed for joining the PAPT. Thanks for your guidance. -- Robin
