Re: Preparing for the new python-support

I have just uploaded version 0.95.0 renamed as 1.0.0:

python-support (1.0.0) unstable; urgency=low

  * Upload to unstable.

This accounts for 24 remaining bugs that are now RC, you can now start
hating me.

I don't understand. The BTS shows only 8 open bug reports on
‘python-support’ itself, so I assume you're saying there are now
serious-or-higher bugs in other packages. How can we find these bugs;
is there a query that reveals them?

 you can now start hating me.

Yay! Emmouette Josselstein is revealed! Let's gather at 11:00 for the

I think they're tracked here:

Hi Joss,

Is it done?

What do you think POX? Let me know if you need any help with the
packages in the list that are being under team's maintenance. I could
prepare some in dpmt's svn during the weekend.

2009/3/26 Josselin Mouette j...@debian.org:
 Hi again,

 with finally proper support for the dist-packages and /usr/local changes
 in python2.6, I think python-support should be ready to move from
 experimental to unstable.

 Unfortunately, there are still a number of packages that will break when
 this happens:

If I didn't miss someone, the bugs affecting DPMT/PAPT package are
already tagged as pending (hopefully near an upload), so the left
package with outstanding bugs are all outside the teams.

Once new python-support will be in sid, and then bugs will become RC,
I'll dedicate part of my Debian time (always too few) to NMU those
packages.
