Bug#571093: amavis-stats: access denied

2010-02-23 Thread Toni Mueller
Package: amavis-stats
Version: 0.1.12-10
Severity: important

Hi,

I've just installed amavis-stats and found that the package does not
work as intended *at all*.

When I enable the package by symlinking its apache.conf to
/etc/apache2/conf.d, reload apache2, and try to visit the stats page, I
get:

 cut
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /amavis-stats/index.php on this
server.
 cut

I've fiddled with the apache config snippet to change this, but
unsuccessfully so far (must have something to do with the symlink,
though).

Kind regards,

Bug#571095: amavis-stats: wrong configuration chosen by default

2010-02-23 Thread Toni Mueller
Package: amavis-stats
Version: 0.1.12-10
Severity: normal

Hi,

when amavis-stats is installed, no questions are asked as to which
webserver is to be configured. Instead of auto-detecting the right
server (eg. I have only Apache2 installed, out of the list of supported
servers), the package silently configures to Apache. One has to
manually work on this and eg.

# dpkg-reconfigure -plow amavis-stats

to remedy the situation.

Hi,

the current version has unsatisfied Build-Depends on libgpmg1-dev
under non-linux ports.

This package can be easily modified to build fine on GNU/kFreeBSD
without libgpmg1-dev installed.

Please, find attached patch with that.

fte override disparity

2010-02-23 Thread Archive Administrator
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

fte-docs_0.50.0-3_all.deb: package says section is doc, override says editors.

Please note that a list of new sections were recently added to the
archive: cli-mono, database, debug, fonts, gnu-r, gnustep, haskell,
httpd, java, kernel, lisp, localization, ocaml, php, ruby, vcs, video,
xfce, zope. At this time a script was used to reclassify packages into
these sections. If this is the case, please only reply to this email if
the new section is inappropriate, otherwise please update your package
at the next upload.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please file a bug against ftp.debian.org and
explain why. Please INCLUDE the list of packages as seen above, or we
won't be able to deal with your request due to missing information.

Please make sure that the subject of the bug you file follows the
following format:

Subject: override: BINARY1:section/priority, [...], BINARYX:section/priority

Include the justification for the change in the body of the mail please.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you already filed a bug
and have not received a response yet, please ignore this mail. Your bug
needs to be processed by a human and will be in due course, but until
then the installer will send these automated mails; sorry.]

In the light of that and given that additional symbols have been

the squeeze freeze. It would also make it easier to fix some other
 issues like #562134.
Ok, let's change to the next patch level now. It's best to get these
sorts of things out of the way before it gets close to freeze.

Sven, are you able to do that? I'm a long way from home ATM (Beijing)
and the internet is a little wierd here.

Done, after using the new version for a day without noticing any
problems and building a few packages with it.

I got two lintian warnings about the *-config programs not having man
pages but it's pretty minor thing. Probably look at the pkg-config
man page and use that.
