Bug#651200: [libkipi] (and not only) in extended descriptions

2011-12-06 Thread Filipus Klutiero

Package: libkipi
Version: 4:4.7.2-1
Severity: minor

Extended descriptions start with:

Libkipi is a KDE library that provides a common interface for
operations on images such as manipulation, organization, importing
from and exporting to online services (and not only), batch editing, etc.

The parenthesis has something wrong. I am not sure what it means. Does
it say more than the etcetera? I suggest either removing it or rewording
to (and more) or (and not only these).

Bug#604429: Please provide an https self signed feed to test

2011-12-06 Thread Maximiliano Curia
Hola Mikko Tuumanen!

El 05/12/2011 a las 22:56 escribiste:
I was trying to reproduce this bug, but I couldn't find a self signed https
feed. Could you please provide a link to test this issue?

I've set up a self signed redmine with an atom feed here:
 https://k2c42.dyndns.org/redmine/news

 I hope that helps.

I tried to help with this bug, but I could not reproduce it with the newer
versions of akregator/libkdepim/kde4libs. Reading the code that processes the
feeds, I found that it ends up calling kde4libs's KIO::get, so if the bug is
still present it should probably be reported to the libkio5 package.

The relevant package versions in my system are:
akregator 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-1
libkdepim4 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-1
libkio54:4.6.5-2+b1

If possible, could you try to reproduce the issue using those versions?

Thanks,

Bug#651227: Compositing unuseable with Radeon r300

2011-12-06 Thread Thomas Viehweger
Package: kde-window-manager
Version: 4:4.6.5-3
Severity: normal

If I enable windows effects the glxgears framerate goes down to 20 fps, moving
windows etc. is a pain.
Doing compiz --replace works as expected: glxgears is at the expected 60 fps
(synchronized with monitor refresh rate), wobbling windows are a real fun.

Because compiz does not work well with KDE4 I have disabled windows effects.

That's expected. This's an upstream bug which wont be fixed anymore.
