Bug#832399: kmail: IMAP folders not showing
Package: kmail Version: 4:16.04.3-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I have several IMAP folders, which aren't showing in kmail folder list so I cannot read my messages. There is only IMAP INBOX. However I can see them in Server-side subscriptions. Mail filtering also works. -- System Information: LSB Version: core-2.0-amd64:core-2.0-noarch:core-3.0-amd64:core-3.0-noarch:core-3.1-amd64:core-3.1-noarch:core-3.2-amd64:core-3.2-noarch:core-4.0-amd64:core-4.0-noarch:core-4.1-amd64:core-4.1-noarch:security-4.0-amd64:security-4.0-noarch:security-4.1-amd64:security-4.1-noarch Distributor ID: Devuan Description:Devuan GNU/Linux unstable (ceres) Release:unstable Codename: ceres Architecture: x86_64 Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii akonadi-server 4:16.04.3-1 ii kdepim-runtime 4:16.04.2-2 ii kdepimlibs-data 4:16.04.2-2 ii kf5-kdepimlibs-kio-plugins 4:16.04.2-2 ii libc6 2.23-2 ii libgcc1 1:6.1.1-9 ii libkf5akonadiagentbase5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5akonadicalendar5 16.04.2-2 ii libkf5akonadicontact5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5akonadicore-bin 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5akonadicore5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5akonadimime5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5akonadisearchdebug5 16.04.2-2 ii libkf5akonadiwidgets5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5alarmcalendar516.04.2-2 ii libkf5archive5 5.24.0-1 ii libkf5bookmarks55.23.0-1 ii libkf5calendarcore5 4:16.04.2-1 ii libkf5calendarsupport5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5calendarutils516.04.2-1 ii libkf5codecs5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5completion5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5configcore5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5configgui55.23.0-1 ii libkf5configwidgets55.23.0-1 ii libkf5contacts5 16.04.2-1 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5crash55.23.0-1 ii libkf5dbusaddons5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5followupreminder5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5gpgmepp-pthread5 16.04.3-1 ii libkf5gravatar5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5guiaddons55.23.0-1 ii libkf5i18n5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5iconthemes5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5identitymanagement5 16.04.2-1 ii libkf5incidenceeditor-bin 16.04.2-2 ii libkf5incidenceeditor5 16.04.2-2 ii libkf5itemmodels5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5itemviews55.23.0-1 ii libkf5jobwidgets5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kcmutils5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kdelibs4support5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kiocore5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kiofilewidgets5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kiowidgets5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5kmanagesieve5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5kontactinterface5 16.04.2-1 ii libkf5ksieveui5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5libkdepim-plugins 4:16.04.2-3 ii libkf5libkdepim54:16.04.2-3 ii libkf5libkleo5 4:16.04.2-1 ii libkf5mailcommon-plugins4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5mailcommon5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5mailimporter5 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5mailtransport516.04.2-2 ii libkf5messagecomposer5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5messagecore5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5messagelist5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5messageviewer54:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5mime5 16.04.2-1 ii libkf5notifications55.23.0-1 ii libkf5notifyconfig5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5parts55.23.0-1 ii libkf5pimcommon-plugins 4:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5pimcommon54:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5pimtextedit5 16.04.2-1 ii libkf5sendlater54:16.04.2-2 ii libkf5service-bin 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5service5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5sonnetui5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5templateparser5 4:16.04.3-1 ii libkf5textwidgets5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5wallet-bin5.23.0-3 ii libkf5wallet5 5.23.0-3 ii libkf5widgetsaddons55.23.0-1 ii libkf5windowsystem5 5.23.0-1 ii libkf5xmlgui5 5.23.0-1 ii libqt5core5a5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libqt5dbus5 5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libqt5gui5 5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libqt5network5 5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libqt5widgets5 5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libqt5xml5 5.6.1+dfsg-3 ii libstdc++6 6.1.1-9 Versions of packages kmail recommends: ii accountwizard 4:16.04.3-1 ii gnupg-agent 2.1.11-7 ii gnupg2 2.1.11-7 ii kdepim-addons 16.04.2-2 pn kdepim-doc ii kdepim-themeeditors 4:16.04.3-1 ii ktnef 4:16.04.3-1 ii pinentry-qt [pinentry-x11] 0.9.7-5 Versions of packages kmail suggests: pn clamav
Bug#822975: gtk3-engines-breeze: Rename packages
gtk3-engines-unico was recently removed from stretch because it apparently doesn't do anything any more. See https://bugs.debian.org/822976 >From its description, gtk3-engines-xfce sounds like something different; it claims to allow regular GTK3 themes to be used by Xfce. But maybe it's just as obsolete as Unico since it has no reverse dependencies and I'm able to use Breeze fine on Xfce without it. It seems to me like Breeze is a GTK theme not a GTK3 engine. For one thing, it supports GTK2 too! Here are the other GTK theme binary packages I am aware of in Debian: - albatross-gtk-theme - arc-theme - blackbird-gtk-theme - bluebird-gtk-theme - clearlooks-phenix-theme (removed from stretch because of GTK 3.20) - greybird-gtk-theme - gnome-themes-standard (GTK2 only now since GTK3 itself bundles the GTK3 version of Adwaita) - mate-themes - murrine-themes (GTK2 only) - numix-gtk-theme (well it's an ITP, but it will be in Debian soon) Ubuntu also has - light-themes - ubuntu-mate-themes - yuyo-gtk-theme and several old GTK2 themes Therefore, I propose that the binary package be renamed to breeze-gtk-theme. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
Bug#823714: gtk3-engines-breeze: add gtk3 (=3.18) to depends
I can confirm that gtk3-engines-breeze 5.6.95-1 works with GTK 3.20 but not with GTK 3.18 (as used in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS). On the other hand, I don't see that any of the other GTK 3 themes in Debian depend (or break) on GTK 3 at all. It's possible for a GTK 3 theme to support multiple versions by using directories like /usr/share/themes/gtk-3.20/ , gtk-3.18/ , gtk-3.0/ , etc. That's not very important for Debian which doesn't support multiple GTK3 versions in the same Debian release but it could be useful for a theme developer. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
Bug#824893: marked as done (gtk3-engines-breeze: needs to be updated for gtk 3.20)

The better feedback we do to upstream the most chances to get this solved. Bug#832319: kontact: kmail unable to send or fetch emails, when connecting to the intenet with wvdial
Package: kontact Version: 4:16.04.3-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, Following an upgrade to 16.04 from 14, I'm no longer able to send or recive any emails using kontact. Clicking on update folder and than on ok on the dialog "it is nesseary to have a resource online, do you want to make it online" does not help. When I click on ok on that dialog I expected that Kontact will assume that there is a network connection and fetch new emails from the server. Restarting the agent in akonadiconsole bring the agent into state "connection established" but I still have the "offline" state on the folder and I can't fetch the emails. When restarting the agent I get the next traces in the terminal that had akonadictl start: Shutting down "akonadi_imap_resource_23" ...
