Bug#1065472: tokodon: wish it would take the mastodon address instead of the instance-url at first use
Package: tokodon Version: 23.04.2-1 Severity: minor Tags: upstream The mastodon address is easily distinguished from an instance URL so the entry field could accept either and work out how to respond. I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't know what their "instance URL" was. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid Architecture: arm64 (aarch64) Kernel: Linux 6.6-rockchip (SMP w/6 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages tokodon depends on: ii kio 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libc6 2.37-15.1 ii libkf5configcore5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5configgui55.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5configwidgets55.107.0-2+b1 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5dbusaddons5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5i18n5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5kiocore5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5kirigami2-5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5notifications55.107.0-1+b1 ii libkf5windowsystem5 5.107.0-1+b1 ii libqt5core5a5.15.10+dfsg-7 ii libqt5gui5 5.15.10+dfsg-7 ii libqt5network5 5.15.10+dfsg-7 ii libqt5qml5 5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii libqt5quick55.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii libqt5quickcontrols2-5 5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii libqt5websockets5 5.15.10-2+b1 ii libqt5widgets5 5.15.10+dfsg-7 ii libstdc++6 14-20240303-1 ii qml-module-org-kde-kirigami-addons-labs-mobileform 0.9.0-1+b1 ii qml-module-org-kde-kirigami25.107.0-1+b1 ii qml-module-org-kde-kitemmodels 5.107.0-1+b1 ii qml-module-org-kde-sonnet 5.107.0-1+b1 ii qml-module-qt-labs-platform 5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii qml-module-qt-labs-qmlmodels5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtgraphicaleffects 5.15.10-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtmultimedia 5.15.10-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtquick-controls25.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtquick-dialogs 5.15.10-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtquick-layouts 5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 ii qml-module-qtquick2 5.15.10+dfsg-2+b1 tokodon recommends no packages. tokodon suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed

Bug#986265: Fixed Upstream
It looks like this bug was fixed in Plasma 6. I had some time to try Plasma 6 and was unable to reproduce this bug. I plan to close this report when it arrives in unstable/sid.

Qt's primary feature is its rich set of widgets that provide standard GUI functionality. . The QtCore module contains core non-GUI functionality. The Breaks: makes apt to search for a libqt5core5a >= 5.15.10+dfsg-7.1 but it will never exist as long as the package is not FIRST replaced by the t64 version. Removing the Breaks: make it installable and the provides expose the libqt5core5a as present. It has been stuck for 5 days already and I do not think this is due to the transition (except many package are uninstalable due to various error in control files). -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.15-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libqt5core5t64 depends on: ii libc6 2.38-6 ii libdouble-conversion3 3.3.0-1+b1 ii libgcc-s1 14-20240221-2.1 ii libglib2.0-0t642.78.4-2.1+b1 ii libicu72 72.1-4+b1 ii libpcre2-16-0 10.42-4+b1 ii libstdc++6 14-20240221-2.1 ii libzstd1 1.5.5+dfsg2-2 ii shared-mime-info 2.4-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.3.dfsg-3.1 Versions of packages libqt5core5t64 recommends: ii qttranslations5-l10n 5.15.10-2 Versions of packages libqt5core5t64 suggests: ii libthai0 0.1.29-2 --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- On Sunday, March 3, 2024 6:31:20 PM CET Eric Valette wrote: > Package: libqt5core5t64 > Version: 5.15.10+dfsg-7.1 > Severity: grave > Justification: renders package unusable The t64 transition is still in progress. This should settle without maintainer interaction within a couple of weeks. Until then, please be careful with upgrades on unstable. Given this doesn't require maintainer interaction, I'm closing this report. /Sune -- I didn’t stop pretending when I became an adult, it’s just that when I was a kid I was pretending that I fit into the rules and structures of this world.
