It installed fine in 'sid', then the upgrade to 'experimental' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. This error may also be triggered by having a predecessor package from 'sid' installed while installing the package from 'experimental'. Bug#1069754: screenshot
The attached image shows the results of cating a file containing emoji in both kitty and konsole and using CTRL-+ repeatedly to change the size, kitty scales the emoji with the text and konsole doesn't. I don't think the config option to set the emoji font size should even exist, it should just be scaled to the text. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Bloghttp://doc.coker.com.au/
Bug#1069754: konsole: The emoji font isn't scaled when you use CTRL-+ and CTRL-- to scale fonts
Package: konsole Version: 4:23.08.1-1+b1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream If you need to temporarily change the font size for a Konsole window and use CTRL-+ or CTRL-- it only changes the font size for ASCII characters not for emoji. I'll send a screenshot after the bug is created. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.7.9-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages konsole depends on: ii kio5.107.0-1+b2 ii konsole-kpart 4:23.08.1-1+b1 ii libc6 2.37-18 ii libkf5configcore5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5configwidgets5 5.107.0-2+b2 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5crash5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5dbusaddons5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5globalaccel-bin 5.107.0-2+b2 ii libkf5globalaccel5 5.107.0-2+b2 ii libkf5guiaddons5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5i18n55.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5kiowidgets5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5notifyconfig55.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5service-bin 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5service5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5widgetsaddons5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5windowsystem55.107.0-1+b2 ii libkf5xmlgui5 5.107.0-1+b2 ii libqt5core5t64 5.15.10+dfsg-7.2+b1 ii libqt5gui5t64 5.15.10+dfsg-7.2+b1 ii libqt5widgets5t64 5.15.10+dfsg-7.2+b1 ii libstdc++6 14-20240330-1 konsole recommends no packages. Bug#1066933: how to fix
retitle 1066933 should recommend fonts-noto-color-emoji for plasma-emojier thanks This package should at least recommend fonts-noto-color-emoji so that plasma- emojier can work correctly. It's probably best to depend on it so things just work without user intervention. The 10.5MB of disk space used by the fonts is small when compared to everything else that plasma does and just avoiding the confusion is worth it. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Bloghttp://doc.coker.com.au/
