Bug#884749: plasma-workspace: ksmserver-logout-greeter crashes stopping shutdown
This package is in the dependency chain of KDE, i.e. the crash affects all the KDE users. Would you mind to adjust the severity of this bug report accordingly? Thanx in advance Harri
Bug#886214: kdepim lost kjots

Bug#802673: kdmgreet cannot connect to dbus
Package: kdm Version: 4:4.11.13-2 Instead of a login window kdm shows me a popup about a SIGSEV at boot time. kdm.log is attached. "systemctl | grep -i dbus" shows dbus.service loaded active running D-Bus System Message Bus dbus.socketloaded active running D-Bus System Message Bus Socket grep -i dbus /var/log/daemon.log: Oct 22 13:55:00 dpcl082 dbus[1906]: [system] Successfully activated service 'org.freedesktop.systemd1' Oct 22 13:55:00 dpcl082 dbus[1906]: [system] Activating via systemd: service name='org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1' unit='polkitd.service' Oct 22 13:55:00 dpcl082 dbus[1906]: [system] Successfully activated service 'org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1' If I login on the command line and stop the kdm service, then I can run X without problems (using "startx"). Please mail if I can help to track this down. Regards Harri Note that your system uses syslog. All of kdm's internally generated messages (i.e., not from libraries and external programs/scripts it uses) go to the daemon.* syslog facility; check your syslog configuration to find out to which file(s) it is logged. Bug#779410: please obey page breaks in Fit Page mode

You mean I have to ask the user to erase everything in $HOME to make sure that plasma-desktop doesn't die? Sorry, but this doesn't answer the question. Bug#637070: support kde in LXC, Linux Vserver or chroot
Package: kde-full Version: 5:66 Severity: wishlist kde depends upon hardware dependent packages (e.g. hal), and upon packages dealing with the kernel somehow (e.g. udev), even if the system is a container or a chroot and does not provide access to hardware or kernel. To support container installations like LXC or Vserver it would be very nice if these dependencies could be modified. This would be _extremely_ helpful for virtual desktop installations. Bug#492011: please fix comment about -nolisten tcp
