This involves no change in libvpx, but a change in Chromium to no longer rely on some private headers of libvpx. So if anything, some existing versioning constraint should be _dropped_. Would be awesome if upstream would stop embed Chromium and instead somehow probe which release of Chromium shared libraries would be needed - but as you no doubt are aware already, that is unlikely to happen. Details about when the change happened in chromium is already referenced in the header of my previously attached patch.
