Bug#615513: release.debian.org: armhf inclusion into the archive

recent waf rc bugs and stable release
Hi! Rhonda brought to my attention that when opening the bugs against packages using the build system waf in non-dfsg conform [1] manner we forgot about the stable release, and asked me to get in contact with the SRMs about that. Regarding the stable release, we don't think it's necessary to get these bugs fixed in the stable release. So if it's okay for the SRMs, it's okay for the ftpteam to tag them accordingly. Re: Bug#655115: Not installable on kfreebsd-amd64, prevents geogebra testing migration
Hi Joachim. On 08/01/2012 18:04, Joachim Breitner wrote: geogebra-kde seems to prevent the new geogebra version from entering testing: http://release.debian.org/migration/testing.pl?package=geogebra The reason seems to be that geogebra bumped its Recommends on icedtea-plugin to a Dependency, making the package uninstallable on architectures where this is not available (kfreebsd-*, s390*). Because it is an arch:all package, this does not prevent its migration to testing by itself. But geogebra-kde, being an arch:any package, was installable on kfreebsd-* before and would not be after the geogebra migration, so geogebra cannot migrate. Thanks for your analysis. Anyway, I'm working on Geogebra 4.0, which will drop dependency on icedtea-plugin (it'll depend on icedtea-netx-common, which is arch:all and shouldn't give this sort of problems). This should fix this problem. Quoting Christian PERRIER (bubu...@debian.org): Quoting Christian PERRIER (bubu...@debian.org): Interesting question. I was indeed convinced that the patch made its way to 3.6 but it apparently didn't. Upstream bug tracker doesn't say a word about 3.6 or about the patch not being relevant for 3.6. I'm checking this with upstreambut it probably just got forgotten, so, yes, 3.6 could be affected by this bug. I uploaded a fixed package in s-p-u. On the other hand, I re-prodded upstream so that the fix is included in the soon-to-come 3.6.2 release. Upstream developer Volker Lendecke is 99% sure that he did check that 3.6 versions (thus wheezy and unstable) are *not* affected by this bug. (99% because he mentioned that it is extremely unlikely that he didn't check.and I tend to give him credit for being careful about these things) signature.asc Description: Digital signature
