Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: rm please do not removal (bug #7942980) , as stated in the bug a workaround exist to use the package, besides the package is broken for a change on the public server, private servers continue to work fine. Bug#741998: RM: vavoom/1.33-4
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: rm hello, i was the primary maintainer for vavoom, nowadays i don't have the time to maintain it anymore, i does not work when is rebuild in current sid. (#740988, #740989) upstream is not active and i don't have the knowledge or time to fix it. there are other packages in Debian which are better maintained with more active upstream. if anyone cares enough packaging could be found at http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-games/vavoom.git thanks! -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#685913: unblock: warzone2100/3.1~rc2-1
i would like to comment on the issue today i intent to play warzone2100 with a friend, he didn't had the game so he downloaded the windows installer from the internet, he downloaded 3.2-rc2 so i have to upgrade to experimental in order to play with him. what i'm trying to say is, upstream is offering 3.1-rc2 on the main downloads page, and is what people are using. we should have the same version or debian players won't be able to play with (or against) the rest of the world!. Pabs explained this in great detail. i just wanted to add a real world case PS: 3.1-rc2 is a solid release, we played all afternoon without an issue -- 1AE0 322E B8F7 4717 BDEA BF1D 44BB 1BA7 9F6C 6333 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
