Bug#287566: KAccel handling causes mass konqueror segfaults on russian systems
Package: kdelibs4 Version: 4:3.3.1-4 Severity: important After upgrading to KDE 3.3 packages, we are suffering mass konqueror crashes on tab closes. It crashes almost certanly if a tab is closed with Ctrl+W while keyboard is in russian mode. This makes browser hardly usable (sooner or later one forgets that he should switch keyboard back to english before using usual key combination). Today we spent several hours with gdb and found what is causing the crashes. Details are posted to kde-devel, message is available at http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-develm=110425131804283 Please, if at all possible, apply at least the workaround described in that message to libkdecore/kaccell.cpp before accepting KDE 3.3 packages into sarge.
