Our standard layout is to have a small /boot, and then use LVM for a system VG and a local VG. System contains root, var, tmp and local contains home and any application specific paths. This way, the individual paths can increased in size easily, just by adding a new ninidisk, and then assigning it to the proper VG and LV. In this scenario, /boot still needs to be an actual first level partition, so that the boot loader can find its files. ------------------------------------------------------- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
