I didn't plan to ship HDF5 1.12 because this release is (or will soon be) retired by the HDF Group: https://portal.hdfgroup.org/display/support/Downloads I thought that Salome 9.11 was build on top of med 5 but this is not the case. The upgrade is not urgent.. Maybe we shall contact Salome upstream to now when they plan to upgrade to med 5 before moving on this issue.
