Bug#817017: libopencv-highgui-dev: Should not depend on libgtk2.0-dev
Hello, I was just going to file the same bug (against unstable, and not because of any install problems). I also believe libopencv-highgui-dev should not depend on libgtk2.0- dev, since: - libgtk2.0 appears to only be used internally by libopencv_highgui - gtk/gdk headers are not referenced in its public header files - no pkg-config file that references gtk/gdk .pc file What is the reason for this dependency then ? Your message dated Tue, 09 Aug 2016 16:21:21 + with message-idand subject line Bug#833846: fixed in fflas-ffpack 2.2.1-2 has caused the Debian Bug report #833846, regarding fflas-ffpack: don't generate optimised code based on the build machine to be marked as done. Please contact ow...@bugs.debian.org immediately.) -- 833846: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=833846 Debian Bug Tracking System Contact ow...@bugs.debian.org with problems --- Begin Message --- Package: fflas-ffpack Version: 2.2.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, fflas-ffpack on amd64 was built with "-msse4.1 -mfma -mavx2" as can be seen from the output of `pkg-config --cflags fflas-ffpack`. This unfortunately makes it crash on amd64 machines that don't support these instructions, and we are running into this issue whilst testing SageMath. Please disable any build options that set optimisations based on autodetection of the CPU features of the build machine. It should be OK to hard-code "-mmmx -msse -msse2" for amd64 and "-msse -msse2" for i386, according to wRAR on #debian-devel. This is somewhat based on information from [1]. There might be other optimisations you can make, but I haven't yet done the detailed research for that. X Ximin Luo: Package: fflas-ffpack Version: 2.2.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, fflas-ffpack on amd64 was built with "-msse4.1 -mfma -mavx2" as can be seen from the output of `pkg-config --cflags fflas-ffpack`. X [1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2016/05/msg1.html Thanks for your report! I had figured that there was an issue like this, as both the CI and reproducible build tasks have been failing. I've disabled the use of these extensions and a new version is in git [1] awaiting sponsorship. Bug#831442: mpich: Broken /usr/lib/libmpich.so.12 symlink, depending on installation order
Control: severity -1 normal Dear all, I have been able to work around this bug in yorick by adding a file debian/shlibs.local in the source tree with this single line: libmpich 12 libmpich12 Le 08/08/2016 12:12, Thibaut Paumard a écrit : > Hi have open a new bug against libc-bin (ldconfig) to follow that up on > that side: 833728 The libc-bin maintainers think that the proper fix would be to also convert openmpi to multiarch and move the alternative main link also to the multiarch directory. I'm downgrading the severity since a workaround exists to avoid FTBFS. Kind regards, Thibaut. -- debian-science-maintainers mailing list debian-science-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/debian-science-maintainers
