I remember to see the option while working on enabling the octomap
support and enable expecting the build system to do what the option says
(strictly enabling SSE). I did not look into the implementation sorry.

Bug#840165: fcl bug

I have deleted the hack to activate the SSE code. It seems that has no sense. 
Upstream clarifies in its CMakeLists: #always disable, for now.

It justs add -native as parameter to the compiler making it not generic. So 
it's better to disable.
