Hi,

you only updated the Build-Depends, but not the Depends.

Bug#861030: gfsview: broken symlink: /usr/share/gfsview/fonts/Garuda.ttf -> ../../fonts/opentype/tlwg/Garuda.otf

2017-04-23 Thread Andreas Beckmann
Package: gfsview
Version: 20121130+dfsg-2
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package ships (or creates)
a broken symlink.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

1m28.0s ERROR: FAIL: Broken symlinks:
  /usr/share/gfsview/fonts/Garuda.ttf -> ../../fonts/opentype/tlwg/Garuda.otf

gfsview has Depends: fonts-tlwg-garuda, but that is the wrong
package, since it is only a metapackage:

  Package: fonts-tlwg-garuda
  Depends: fonts-tlwg-garuda-ttf | fonts-tlwg-garuda-otf

which is not suitable if you want a specific file to exist.
So depend on fonts-tlwg-garuda-otf instead. (Or switch the symlink
target to the corresponding .ttf and depend on the -ttf package.)

cheers,

Andreas
