[Debian] Adaptec 2940 U2W-Controller
Hallo, ich versuche auf einem Rechner mit dem Adaptec 2940 Debian 2.2r3 zu installieren. Ich habe schon ein paar boot-Parameter ausprobiert, aber der Installationsvorgang bleibt immer an der selben Stelle hängen. Ich habe beim Suchen nach diesem Problem leider nur gefunden, das es schon in Debian 2.1 aufgetreten ist und man bis 2.2 warten soll, da wird es nicht mehr auftreten. Zu dumm, das meine Installations-CD das nicht gelesen hat;-) Hat jemand das gleiche Problem und weiss, wie ich es lösen kann? It does not support Ich habe jetzt alle Bootdisketten-Images ausprobiert, leider besteht das Problem immernoch. Mich wundert nur, das noch der Rechner erst bei sym53c416.c: Version 1.0.0 hängen bleibt. Kann man bei der Installation verhindern, das alle Module für die SCSI-Adapter durchprobiert werden, um zu sehen, ob vielleicht das Symbios-Modul das Problem verursacht? Das aic7xxx-Modul könnte man ja während der Installation laden.
