T-DSL: Teledat 300 LAN über Hub und PPPoE

Hi alle!

Für meinen DSL-Zugang habe ich von der Telekom/T-Online ein Teledat 300 
 LAN DSL-Modem bekommen. Ich will ein unter Woody laufenden Server als 
Gateway für mein internes Netz verwenden.

Dabei habe ich folgendes Problem:

Der Server läuft noch unter einem alten Release von Potato und ich 
will/muss ihn erst upgraden, bevor ich ihn als Gateway/Router einsetzen 
kann. Um das zu machen, will ich meinen Woody-Laptop die DSL Verbindung 
aufbauen und temporär an den Server forwarden lassen. Der Haken ist nun, 
dass ich mir nicht extra eine zusätzliche PCMCIA-Netzwerkkarte kaufen 
will. Kann ich das Teledat 300 auch an meinen Switch anschliessen und 
die PPPoE Verbindung durch den Switch hindurch aufbauen?? Hat jemand 
Erfahrung damit?

kernel 2.4.20, AVM fritz dsl

Hallo Liste!

Meine AVM FritzDSL Karte lief mit kernel 2.4.18 einwandfrei. Nach einem Upgrade auf 
2.4.20 und dem Neukompilieren des AVM Treibers (fcdsl.o) hängt sich das ganze System 
jedoch beim insmod auf:
