Es decir , yo usé una Ubuntu ya que me detectaba y ponia a funcionar perfectamente mi wireless sin darme mucha guerra pero,cuando puse los repositorios de Debian perdí el entorno grafico y comenzaron una pila de errores ( no recuerdo cuantos , pero si bastantes) . Por si piensas o crees que soy un desastre ( no te preocupes, lo soy :) ) te comentaré que un compañero hizó lo mismo por su cuenta y acabó igual...con "todo" en mal estado. La solucion en ambos casos fué reinstalar y meter la sarge... Espera...nada , mi compi esta de vacacionesasi que te digo . Mas o menos de cabeza, pero si tienes tiempo y buena conexionveamos. Tienes otra distribucion basada en DebianLibranet...no se si la conoces. Vale ,tiene una gratuita y otra de pago. El caso es que si recuerdo haber hecho un paso de la Libranet a una sarge ( te hablo de hace un año o así ) y funcionó bien. Realmente lo que perdí fue el menu de KDE pero funcionar funcionaba Si puedes descargartelo y tienes tiempo te recomendaria que pases por Libranet y Xandros (ambas estan basadas en Debian) y trates de instalartelas y actualizarlas a Sarge...como no estas en Madrid no te puedo ayudar mucho mas...de otro modo podia descargarte yo alguna y tu la otra y te pasaba luego la copia ( de hecho creo que tengo copias de ambas, pero de hace un año...asi que te vendrian bien...imagino). El tema de los repositorios se que los tienes en la web de debian , es que no los tengo a mano , si no te los pasaba. Si no recuerdo mal tienes que crear en /home/usuario/ una carpeta llamada Autostart ( atento a las myusculas/minusculas) y dentro de esa carpeta creas un archivo (por ejemplo llamado "termdesk") y dentro metes las ordenes de consola que deseas que se ejecuten al arranque de xfce4. Ahora bien , como te lo he dicho de memoria y no estoy seguro es por lo que te mando a Google, para que te asegures de que es asi y no meter la pata, pero si pruebas como yo te digo te tendria que funcionar creo :P. Hola!! Vale, gracias. Creo que entre la Samsung y la Brother acabare apañando alguna. Lo siento , pensaba que la ML-1610 era solo impresora, no sabia que fuese tambien multifuncion ( vi una samsung en el centro comercial pero no recordaba seguro el modelo ,eso si, me fije en el precio :P) Sobre la Brother DCP-110C que me comenta Patxi...la echare un vistazo tambien...no habia visto las multifuncion de Brother. El caso es que queria una que me permitiese usar tanto la impresora como el escaner en Debian ( sin complicarme la vida en exceso) y creo que entre esas 2 opciones me apañare. Impresoras multifuncion
Hola lista, buenos dias. Oye...¿alguien me puede recomendar alguna impresora multifuncion?. Por favor, que sea de las economicashe visto las impresoras Samsung que comentabais por aqui y estoy tentado por ellas , pero si logro una multifuncion que me sirva en Debian me seria de mucha utilidad ( ultimamente el 90% de mis proyectos los trato de hacer en Linux). Hola a todos, Al instalar el Servidor de aplicaciones Sun AppServer 8.0 me aparece el siguiente error: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory he hecho ya el apt-get install libstdc++6 pero nada. Ayúdenme con este problema por favor. == Hola!!!...perdona mi tardanza en contestar, acabo de leerte y no se si alguien te ha contestado. Da un vistazo a las libstdc que tienes en /usr/lib. Yo lo que suelo hacer es hacer un link simbolico de la que tenga con el nombre que me pide la instalacion de Sun y funciona correctamente. Prueba y me dices . Buenos dias a [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Tengo una curiosidad y , a pesar de que puede ser off-topic me gustaria saber si alguien de esta lista me la puede resolver. Me gustaria crear una distribucion propia , basada en Debian . Ya me había pasado por ahí, pero los enlaces estan bastante
desactaulizados, algunas páginas no se cargan, otros ya no
venden al público y alguno tiene unos precios un poco caros
para mi gusto (42 Euros por 2 DVD)

Hola!!
Creo que los regala Todo Linux...al menos uno. Si no recuerdo mal la misma
publicacion ha sacado una edicion de la Sarge por 12 EUR más o menos ( creo
que menos) . En el precio se incluye un manual de instalacion ( que será lo
mismo que tienes en debian.org pero asi ya lo tienes en papel).
Este ultimo lo vi ayer en un kiosco de las afueras de Madrid, pero seguro
que en Madrid logras encontrarlo.

Raton USB
Buenos dias Lista. Tengo un portatil con un raton USB y las Xorg. El caso es que en consola mi raton USB va perfectamente , pero cuando arranco las X se me va a la porra y solo puedo usar el ps2 . He probado diversas soluciones , y he cambiado a pelo el xorg.conf poniendo en la "Section InputDevice" el Protocol a SysMouse y el Device a /dev/sysmouse pero ni por esas¿alguien puede echar un cable?, o al menos darme alguna pista de cual es la causa de no lograr que mi raton USB funcione en las X.
