GNOME en Wheezy (era: Wheezy congelada para mediados de junio)

Realizo todas estas preguntas por los comentarios que han surgido con anterioridad en esta lista y como yo no tengo acceso a Internet y no tengo gnome3 todavía pues temo un poco que gnome3 quede un poco verde aun con el Wheezy. Te puede gustar o no el nuevo paradigma de gnome-shell pero funciona bastante bien, la verdad, y lo más importante desde mi punto de vista, es que es aceptablemente estable. Por su parte, GNOME3 tiene aún cosas por mejorar (por ejemplo, la gestión de múltiples monitores no está nada pulida) y alguna cosilla más pero nada extremadamente grave o serio.
