Tengo instalado un Debian inestable con un kernel 2.6.16-2-k7 Cuando ejecuto printconf me salta el siguiente error: Configuring Epson Stylus Color 670 on usb:/dev/usb/lp0 with gimp-print driver as queue stylus_color_670. There is neither a custom PPD file nor the driver database entry contains sufficient data to build a PPD file. Reloading Common Unix Printing System: cupsd. Porque cuando lo hago por el menu de impresoras de gnome como administrador me aparece la impresora para elegir pero en el siguiente paso para elegir los drivers no me aparece nada, incluso baje los ppd stcolor y no funciona tampoco. No existe un archivo con el PPD indicado, ni la base de datos del controlador tiene sficiente informacion para crear el PPD El ppd es un complemento del driver que indica para cada modelo soportado por el driver informacion sobre opciones soportadas y configuracion. Basicamente que no tienes el ppd adecuado instalado. Mira si tienes el foomatic-db instalado, y si es asi, mira a ver si tu impresora esta soportada en la web de linuxprinting. Tengo el foomatic-db, los driver del gimp, de gutenprint, etc, etc. Mi impresora esta soportada por todos. Tambien la agrege por http://localhost:631/ con los siguientes datos: Descripción: Epson Stylus Color 670 Ubicación: Estudio Fabricante y modelo: Epson Stylus Color 670 Foomatic/stcolor (recommended) Estado de la impresora: inactiva, aceptando trabajos, pública. URI de la conexión: usb://EPSON/Stylus%20COLOR%20670 Pero mando imprimir algo y no hace nada, no reacciona.
