Funderar på att eventuellt hålla något Debian aktigt i år om några mer
vill hjälpa till?
vet inte om jag orkar dra det stora lasset att arrangera allting helt själv

men om inte kommer jag med stor sannolik dyka upp som besökare i år allafall

men gissar att flera talare kommer läggas till efter tid, då det
fortfarande går att ansöka om att bli/vara en talare tills 5:e Mars
(mingla med folk i Lunch och kaffepausen) men låter Johan Thelin
huvudarrangör ge dig ett mer officiellt svar

Nope, började att fortsätta översätta lite av den Debian
administrationsboken till svenska:

intresserad av datorprogram än böcker och hemsidor och är inte

Ah, i started this one as Mattias wrote on Telegram and asked if Debian has
a Matrix server instead of Telegram and decided to create a room on Debians
Official Matrix Server
https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DebianSocial but as there is also the IRC
channel bridged to the official Matrix, Matrix server i guess that one
works as well
and to answer the orginal question there is Debian chat rooms on both
matrix and IRC for people that don't wanna use Telegram

Re: Debian 11 BSP Hackathon Mål?

Översatte 1401 meningar till svenska mest dokumentation och även 2 paket 1
för Ubuntu och 1 för Debian
Tack för att jag fick vara med på min första BSP, även fast jag mest fixade
med översättning och Lokalisering på distans och egentligen inte hjälpte
till att fixa buggar, då jag inte kodar så mycket, får försöka vara med på
riktigt på plats nästa gång :)

över att hosta eventet, kanske dyker upp till Kista Galleria på Lördag

Det är på Fredag 16:e Augusti, vi tänkt oss vara på Goto10 mellan
16:00-17:00
Det är för att fira att Linux distributionen/versionen Debian som är
storebror till Ubuntu Linux fyller 26år
Vi har inte planerat vad vi ska göra än, men har äta tårta eller pizza och
kanske en kort presentation uppe på förslag
Så är Debian Linux Usergroups världen över för detta är vi väl 3-4 personer
i den svenska som snackat lite Jag, Helio, Per och Mattias

själv på eran hemsida som gratis medlem i Goto10 vilket jag har vart sen

Så planen ser nu ut såhär på 26års dagen för Debian dvs Fredag 16:e Augusti
Träff på Goto10 16:00-17:00 och sen eventuell pizza och öl i stan och dagen
efter Lördag 17:e Augusti träff på Mcdonalds i Kista för folk som behöver
lite extra möte för att signera GPG nycklar eller uppdatera något i

Det var tänkt att träffas i Kista Galleria, men kan ändras plats om någon
är sugen, är inte 100% spikat än vi diskuterar fortfarande tills på Fredag
Så om någon hellre vill ha det i Hammarby Kaj hos Goto10 kan någon snacka
med dom, är dock stängt där på Lördag 17:e Augusti men öppet 16:00-17:00 så
om någon hellre vill ha det inne i stan istället för Kista och känner för
att hjälpa till att dra i det så kör hårt

my coworker is running two pis with Debian but not sure if he has

The Free Society Conference and Nordic Summit (FSCONS) is a meeting place

and society. FSCONS is organised according to the principles laid out in
our Manifesto, a living document accepted by the society's members at the

challenge. Open discussion and brainstorming are as important as the talks
given during the conference.
Invitation

We're looking for proposals that relate to Free Software, Free Culture or
Free Society generally, as well as those which are at the crossroads of the
three or which take the philosophy and brings them to a whole new field. To
give you a hint of the scope of the conference here are some topics already
planned:

* Changing society: Redefining social structures for resilience.
* Art: Digital and physical forms in modern culture.
* Open Technology: Infrastructure of the Future?

But don't let this restrict your thinking: you can submit a proposal even
if it doesn't quite fit into any of the above topics.

The deadline for your proposal is July 15th.
How to submit your proposal

In order to submit your proposal, please go to

tänkte ha community möte 24:e Maj (Tisdag nästa vecka) mellan 18:00-19:30 i

hackathonet i Stockholm, och vilka buggar som kan fixas och annat allmänt

Vi kör Debian Wheezy LTS på några servrar här nu vi har även köpt nya
kopieringsmaskiner som kör Debian från www.riso.co.uk/ :)

Dear participants and friends of FSCONS,

After the annual meeting we are happy to inform you that the planning
for FSCONS 2016 has started (and not only that: we've started looking
ahead to 2017 and 2018 as well, but more on that later). We are aiming
for the second weekend of November as usual, that is to say 12-13
November.

FSCONS 2016 will, as previously suggested, take place at a conference
centre in the vicinity of Gothenburg with a limited number of speakers
and tracks, and tickets for the event being essentially the cost price
for the accommodation at the venue. This, we trust, will not only
alleviate the work load of the organisers and thus increase the
sustainability of the association, but also provide a more intimate
setting for our 10th anniversary celebration. While this decision was
not taken lightly, changing the venue for this year will reduce the
effort of organising volunteers and logistics, and the reduced number
of speakers means that we can use our buffer to cover the speakers'
travel costs, thereby reducing our need for finding sponsors.

Relying on a conference centre will mean that accommodation and meals
will be included for all participants. While we anticipate that the
total cost for participation for those travelling to Gothenburg will
be about the same, unfortunately the price for local participants will
likely be higher. To alleviate this, any additional funds acquired
from sponsors will primarily go to lowering the ticket price.

In addition to the above, we are excited to report that the annual
meeting has asked our collaborators in Oslo to look into the
possibility of hosting FSCONS 2017. We think that this could bring
some new energy and perspectives to the event, and that alternating
between Gothenburg and another city in the Nordic countries every
other year will also give the organisers more time for the tasks that
need to be performed a year or more in advance, such as inviting high
profile speakers and applying for external funding. This might also free
energy and capacity for organising satellite events in Gothenburg and
elsewhere in the years when the main event is out of town, which is
something we have been wanting to do for many years.

We go into the planning of this year's conference with FSCONS 2017 and
2018 already in mind, a fact which we hope you will find as inspiring
as we do. We hope you will follow us on this journey, and as always
you are more than welcome to join us in organising FSCONS 2016, and to
help us make FSCONS 2016 the Ultimate FSCONS experience!

As we have entered 2016, the next FSCONS will be the tenth one. This
obviously necessitates a celebration, to make FSCONS 2016 a very
special event.

However, at the same time the core organisers have experienced a high
workload. Too many things are still being done by too few people, and
our efforts to bring more people into the fold have not been as
successful as we had hoped.

Therefore, the board's proposal to the Yearly Meeting of Föreningen
FSCONS is that FSCONS 2016 should not only be a celebration of the
conference's 10th anniversary, but also the very last one. We propose
to make FSCONS 2016 a worthy ending to a great conference.

To reduce the workload for the conference, we also propose that we
simplify the organising greatly. The simplest way of accomplishing
this is to find a place where many of the troubling aspects are fixed
for us, such as conference centre, preferably one that lies in the
rural areas close to Gothenburg and includes accommodation for all
participants.

This implies a few things. Firstly, the cost for each participant will
be somewhat higher than it has been, essentially assuming cost price,
as we do not wish to rely on sponsors. On the upside, food and
accommodation will be included in the price. Secondly, we will have to
reduce the number of participants, tracks and speakers. While we want
to leave the exact number open to suggestions from both the public and
the Yearly Meeting, we think that we reasonably could aim for fifty to
a hundred participants, of whom ten or twelve are speakers and not
really have any named tracks. As we have had many fantastic speakers
during our ten years, we propose to invite some of our favourites from
past conferences, and thus make FSCONS 2016 a somewhat retrospective
event.

If FSCONS is to continue as a yearly conference beyond 2016, we would
like to see more people coming forward and being willing to take on
responsibilities in the association. As FSCONS is run by a registered,
democratic organisation, this would have to happen before the Yearly
Meeting, which most likely would take place in April. In any case, we
would appreciate feedback on this proposal from anyone who has
participated in FSCONS in the past. Feedback should preferably go to
the FSCONS organisers' list o...@lists.fscons.org
