I detta fall behövs ingen pinning tror jag. Det är bara att göra aptitude
install qtdmm/unstable.

Det, eller apt-get -t unstable qtdmm som fixar en temporär (högprioriterad) 
pinning på unstable.

Eftersom det bara är en temporär pinning är mitt tips inte hållbart om
du vill hålla programmet up-to-date :-)

hur installerar man unstable paket

Har nyss lyckats installera lenny i testing via en visitkorts CD på en äldre
pc. Behöver programmet QtDMM ver 0.8.10 men kan bara installera 0.8.8. Det
är den senare versionen jag behöver då en bugg är fixad. Ser inte QtDMM
0.8.8 i programmenyn men kan starta det via filläsaren eller via
terminalfönster. Hur ska jag göra för att installera QtDMM ver 0.8.10. Är
nybörjare!

Det du vill åstadkomma kallas apt pinning. En av mina etch-maskiner ser ut så 
här:

Ovanstående får till följd att endast etch normalt används. unstable används 
först när man explicit begär det. Se exempel nedan.
