Question to all Candidates: 2IC

2010-03-11 Thread Joerg Jaspert
Heyho,

a little question to all those up for the next DPL:

Do you plan on taking on a "2IC" or a team?
If so: Who? And why this/those?

Thanks.

Sorry for the double post, but since I signed the previous message with my
not-yet-in-the-keyring key, this one is signed with both the old and the
new keys.

I've been thinking a lot about this, and I consider that I could try to
improve Debian from the role of DPL.

I hereby nominate myself for DPL.

I'm currently preparing my platform, and I'm open for any good ideas that
people would like to see a DPL put into action, in order to make Debian
better.

Hey! Vote for the schizo!
No, you won't!
Yes, I will!
Ok, you may, but where will you put him - below or above NOTA?
Well, I'm not telling you!
Remember it is _me_ who has the passphrase for your GPG key...
Yes, but it is me who has the GPG key for your passphrase!

Hmm... This might explain why some things just refuse to work the way
they should in Debian, the Disociated Identity^W^WUniversal OS...

It was pointed out to me on IRC that because I stated that I was running
*because* Stefano was the only candidate, and that there are three
candidates now, it might be good to clarify that I'm not withdrawing.
So: I'm not withdrawing.

Though it would be interesting to see the jojo effect that might occur
if I withdraw (because there's three now), then have Charles withdraw
(because that would make Stefano the only candidate again), only to then
run again... :-)

Heh. Oh well.

Okay. So you're running because I'm running, and I was running because
you weren't? Interesting.
