NAK.  There seems to be an issue with the new openmpi on ia64 affecting
a number of its reverse deps.  Shipping known-broken packages doesn't
seem like the way to go.

Seems the build of aces3 got killed after 150 minutes during running its
test suite on an ia64 buildd. Can you please give it back on a machine
with a longer inactivity timeout or build it using
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck?
