Bug#227834: ITA: gnome-sudo: GUI frontend to sudo
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Hello, I intent to adopt gnome-sudo. What I want to do is to merge it's functionality into gksu and then make a gnome-sudo package be the upgrade path to the new gksu thing. I will, thus, port it to Gtk2 and do some related clean up. Bug#223781: usemod-wiki adoption
Charles Fry [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: As far as I can tell your offer for adoption still stands; in any case version 1.0 still has not been uploaded. I am not currnetly a developer, but I am interested in becoming one, and as I actively use usemod-wiki I would love to maintain it. Julian Mehnle ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) took it first (see bug #223781). But perhaps you could work together and co-maintain usemod-wiki. Just if someone other than me is also puzzled about a ITA bug without a preceding RFA or O bug: The package maintainer was set to QA by Javier Fernandez-Sanguino Pen~a, in his upload at 2004-01-09 (http://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gnome-sudo/news/1.html) but obviously without filing a O bug.
