Hi Cyril,

It seems that this package is not really distributable, due to lacking
copyright notices. I've contacted upstream, and they are not interested
in fixing, as there are now better ways to split wavfiles. So it seems to
me that this would probably be best being removed from the archive. I
don't really want to adopt it just to do that.

Just dropping a note to ask if you're getting anywhere on packaging
Trollop? I have made a package, in the apparent absence of activity on
your end, so I'll take over this ITP and get it uploaded 1 week from now
if I don't hear anything further from you.

Yes, I have it packaged and am planning on finally uploading everything
this week. If you will need it for some other package, are you interested
 in co-maintainership?
As there hasn't been any apparent uploading on your side, I'm going to go
ahead and get my package uploaded. We can talk more once it's in NEW
about how maintainance will work going forward, but I don't want to wait
on this any more.

Bug#488117: Public git repository for libv4l

Looks nice! The 0.5.1 release is nice for skype users, I've seen some
people mentionning it wouldn't work for them in Ubuntu; I'm happy to
sponsor it to Debian as soon as it comes out of NEW and will look into
 pushing to Ubuntu.

I've also added a .gbp.conf to make the usage of pristine-tar automatic
and to have stable branch and tag names (whatever people configure in
their ~/.gbp.conf and even if the default would change).

   Cheers,

2008-10-19 Thread Uwe Hermann
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Uwe Hermann [EMAIL PROTECTED]

* Package name: nvramtool
  Version : 2.1
Upstream Author : David S. Peterson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://www.coreboot.org/Nvramtool
* License : GPL-2, some files BSD-licensed
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : Read/write coreboot-related NVRAM/CMOS information

nvramtool is a utility for reading/writing coreboot parameters in NVRAM/CMOS
and displaying information from the so-called 'coreboot table'.
 .
The coreboot table resides in low physical memory. It is created at
boot time by coreboot, and contains various system information such as
the type of mainboard in use. It specifies locations in the NVRAM/CMOS
(nonvolatile RAM) where the coreboot parameters are stored.
 .
This program mostly intended for (x86-based) systems that use coreboot, but
can also be used for non-coreboot system (e.g. for dumping all NVRAM bytes).
 .
For information about coreboot, see http://www.coreboot.org/.

Bug#323420: status?

2008-10-19 Thread The Anarcat
I am interested in working on a port now that 3.2 is BSD-licensed. Was
there any work other than just looking at the license done yet? If so,
please provide a diff so that I don't start from scratch for nothing...
;)

I'm not sure when/if I'll really have time to work on this though, so
don't hold your breath.

Bug#323420: some work performed

2008-10-19 Thread The Anarcat
So I spent some time horsing around with metasploit... I have a
.diff.gz, but there isn't a lot in there, mostly a debian/control and
debian/copyright file.

So I attach a .diff.gz for you people to peruse. I'm not sure I'm
capable for actually working out a debian/rules file for this mess but I
have at least sorted out some stuff from the copyright issues and made
up a todo list.
