Få ut mesta möjliga av din investering

Att anställa en ny medarbetare är en stor investering, särskilt för mindre
företag. Som med alla investeringar vill du självklart få ut mesta möjliga ROI
(return on investment).

Liang Guo prepared the attached NMU and I'm uploaded it to DELAYED/3-days.

Bug#620018: ITP: nova -- open source software for building reliable cloud infrastructure

  Version : 2011.1.1
Upstream Author : Openstack developers openst...@lists.launchpad.net
* URL : http://www.openstack.org/
* License : Apache 2.0

Description : open source software for building reliable cloud
infrastructure

OpenStack is free, open source software for building reliable cloud
infrastructure.

The OpenStack mission is to produce the ubiquitous Open Source cloud
computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private cloud
providers regardless of size, by being simple to implement and
massively scalable.

OpenStack Compute, codenamed Nova, is a cloud computing fabric
controller. In addition to its native, open API (the OpenStack API),
it also supports the Amazon EC2 API.

Nova is intended to be modular and easy to extend and adapt. It
supports many different hypervisors (KVM and Xen to name a few),
different database backends (SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, for
instance), different types of user databases (LDAP or SQL), etc.

Description: Library for autodection charset of Russian text
LibRCD is used by RusXMMS project for encoding auto-detection.
It is optimized to handle very short titles, like ID3 tags,
file names and etc, and provides very high accuracy even
 for short 3-4 letter words.
Current version supports Russian and Ukrainian languages
 and able to distinguish UTF-8, KOI8-R, CP1251, CP866, ISO8859-1.
If compared with Enca, LibRCC provides better detection accuracy
on short titles and is able to detect ISO8859-1 (non-cyrillic)
encoding what allows to properly display correct ID3 v.1 titles.

I agree. I lamely did a cut/past from the description of the Ubuntu
package, but doing so, I thought about it.

I am very happy that you share my opinion about it, and that you took

The two pings slipped by, sorry about that. I wasn't aware a significant number

Your effort started on August 5th.

On Oct 20th, I pinged the bug report, Ccing you, but you did not reply.

Why don't you put the package on mentors.d.n or somewhere on the web?

Unless your secret mentor is active in Debian/Ruby, it's probably a good
idea to have the package reviewed by one of us anyway.

Bug#619775: RFA: tabmixplus

2011-03-29 Thread Fabrizio Regalli
Hi Benjamin,

I'm not a DD (interested in becoming) but if you can assist me with
sponsored upload and review I can adopt this package.
At the beginning we can upload/check it together then, when I learned,
you can leave the package.

What do you think?
Please let me know.

Cheers,
Fabrizio.

Great. Get commit rights to our git repository. Then you can commit your
changes. Once ready, let me know. Then I can review your changes and
upload the package (if it passes the review). I will leave the package
(drop from Uploaders) with your first upload, but I will still be your
sponsor and pkg-mozext team member.

Bug#612381: Philologic4

2011-03-29 Thread Daniel Stender
I've been in contact with Marc Olsen and he told me that Philologic 4 is
upcoming which is going to
be reimplemented completey in Python. It is told that 4 is going to be far more
flexible and
extensible and has been suggested that it would be waste to put any more
maintenance ressources into
version 3. So I'm waiting until 4 comes out in a couple of weeks to pack it for
Debian.

Greetings,
Daniel Stender
