Bug#582864: status of uwsgi ITP?
Hi Robert, Sorry for late reply. On 07.04.2011 03:41, Robert Edmonds wrote: hi, what's the status of this ITP? i don't see anything that needs fixing before uploading to the archive, except perhaps for an update to the latest upstream release. You are right. Package is in error-free, working state. I'm just pretty much stuck in reworking the package for new upstream release, moving from 0.9.6.8 to 0.9.7.x (as 0.9.7.x introduces programming language agnosticism, which I want to integrate into package structure, and carries most of functionality out into plugins). Alexander GQ Gerasiov has re-established contact with me (concerning this ITP) in February of 2011 (when there was no 0.9.7.x yet), but after a few messages I've again lost in waiting for his reply. Are you interested in sponsorship? If so, I think, I can upload new package (based on current 0.9.7.x release) for review in a two weeks or so. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#623080: ITP: polyglot -- Custom language loaders for specified file extensions
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: vasudev vasu...@vasudev.homelinux.net * Package name: polyglot Version : 0.3.1 Upstream Author : Clifford Heath cjhe...@rubyforge.org * URL : http://polyglot.rubyforge.org * License : MIT Programming Lang: Ruby Description : Custom language loaders for specified file extensions Allows to write custom language loaders for specified file extensions to be hooked into require. . This supports the creation of DSLs having a syntax that is most appropriate to their purpose, instead of abusing the Ruby syntax. . Bug#620018: Openstack Compute nova, Cactus release, Squeeze built available in our private repo
- Original message - Le Sat, Apr 16, 2011 at 10:43:43AM +0800, Thomas Goirand a écrit : Again, if other DDs want to participate to this packaging effort, you'd be welcome. Especially, it seems that the current version of euca tools are broken (uec-publish-tarball got me stuck on my work for a week), and would need debugging. Hi Thomas, Debian's euca2ools package is definitely outdated. Is the problem with uec-publish-tarball fixed in upstream's version 1.3.1 ? I don't know, but I will check for it and try. I will be mostly unavailable for the next three weeks, with two business trips followed by vacations. Me too for a week, but I think I will still find a bit of time to work on it. So if you or anybody else would like to go ahead and update the package, you are most welcome ! I can add you to the pkg-eucalyptus group any time. Thanks, I will join the group when I reach home (I am replying from my mobile phone), and I will definitely happily join the group and would like to be added. FYI: I just need the euca2ools to use them as EC2 clients for Openstack. Cheers, thomas p.s: I will let you know when I did the alioth group registration. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? It is specifically designed for the Maq alignment file and allows you to see the mismatches, base qualities and mapping qualities. Maqview is nothing fancy as Consed or GAP, but just a simple viewer for you to see what happens in a particular region. . In comparison to tgap-maq, the text-based read alignment viewer writen by James Bonfield, Maqview is faster and takes up much less memory and disk space in indexing. This is possibly because tgap aims to be a general-purpose viewer but Maqview fully makes use of the fact that a Maq alignment file has already been sorted. Maqview is also efficient in viewing and provides a command-line tool to quickly retrieve any region in an Maq alignment file. . Maqview is based on OpenGL. Installing OpenGL on your system is the trade-off of getting a better feel and look. The following screenshots show the two viewing modes of Maqview. Remark: Packaging in Debian Med team is basically finished and available here svn://svn.debian.org/svn/debian-med/trunk/packages/maqview/trunk/ -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: maqview Source-Version: 0.2.5-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of maqview, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: maqview_0.2.5-1.debian.tar.gz to main/m/maqview/maqview_0.2.5-1.debian.tar.gz maqview_0.2.5-1.dsc to main/m/maqview/maqview_0.2.5-1.dsc maqview_0.2.5-1_amd64.deb to main/m/maqview/maqview_0.2.5-1_amd64.deb maqview_0.2.5.orig.tar.gz to main/m/maqview/maqview_0.2.5.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. See http://www.haskell.org/ for more information on Haskell. . This library provides an abstraction of buffered output of byte streams and several convenience functions to exploit it. For example, it allows to efficiently serialize Haskell values to lazy bytestrings with a large average chunk size. The large average chunk size allows to make good use of cache prefetching in later processing steps (e.g. compression) and reduces the sytem call overhead when writing the resulting lazy bytestring to a file or sending it over the network. ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: haskell-blaze-builder Source-Version: 0.2.1.4-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of haskell-blaze-builder, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4-1.debian.tar.gz to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4-1.debian.tar.gz haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4-1.dsc to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4-1.dsc haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4.orig.tar.gz to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/haskell-blaze-builder_0.2.1.4.orig.tar.gz libghc-blaze-builder-dev_0.2.1.4-1_amd64.deb to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/libghc-blaze-builder-dev_0.2.1.4-1_amd64.deb libghc-blaze-builder-doc_0.2.1.4-1_all.deb to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/libghc-blaze-builder-doc_0.2.1.4-1_all.deb libghc-blaze-builder-prof_0.2.1.4-1_amd64.deb to main/h/haskell-blaze-builder/libghc-blaze-builder-prof_0.2.1.4-1_amd64.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#622760: request ITP
sorry I'm new in building debian packages , this is the first one , I needed the bug number to edit my changelog file, I posted the bug request with reportbug and I thought it was enough. Now, further informations, this program computes the observer position in Astro navigation, computes the position and coordinates of 52 stars sun, moon and major planets, can be useful for amateurs or navigators that want to fix their position with stars. I choose licence GPLv3 and is written in C/C++ with Codelite and wxwidgets. I'm still fighting with lintian trying to fix all problems and is very hard for an amateur like me, hope to make not much mess, sorry for that. Replied more extensively privately to that one. This, even more than your constant lecturing on Debian policy, frankly pisses me off. What are you referring about for the policy? All I've been fixing aren't *my* lecture of the policy, but the ones of *lintian*. There's no way I'm going to upload something in the Debian archive if lintian warns me about anything. Now, you are telling 2 things that are opposing each other. You are saying that my constant lecturing on Debian policy above, and below that you need more discussions about my proposed merges with you. Most of my changes are to be policy compliant. So, please choose one of the two and stick to it. If you have something to say, at the very least have the guts to say it in public I did. What I added privately to Lucas was mostly that I had bad feelings for the future, because of reactions like this: otherwise this collaboration ends right here. which I wanted to avoid, knowing already how quick you can be to react. What I wrote as well, is that it seemed to me that Debian was not your priority. Am I wrong with that? That's it, nothing more that I sent to Lucas, there's no need to be paranoid with it. But in short: my patches were not pulled, and I hope to get more feedback and reactivity from upstream packagers in the future. It would be quite helpful if you'd either a) follow the same process as everyone else and submit a merge proposal when you have something ready for review or at least b) let me know whenever you expect me to review your stuff. I did b), multiple times, on both IRC and email. You agreed on the discussed changes, which is why I didn't get why my proposed changes were not pulled. Every once in a while, I've gone and looked and have given you feedback. I agree I had the feedback 2 weeks ago, yes. I can even add that I was quite happy to discuss my changes with you. But that's it, it ended there, with no reason given why my changes were not merged, which I would have feel strange about it if there was no major release of Nova. If you expect more than that, I suggest you discuss it with me What more do you think we have to discuss, since last week? Please let me know. instead of being passive aggressive in other fora about it. I reread myself 3 times to make sure I wasn't aggressive, and made sure I wouldn't hurt you. Where was I?
