Bug#755493: (no subject)

Is it necessary to require GSL = 1.16? The version in Wheezy is 1.15, and it's easier for laypeople to make personal backports when the version required is not too high. Bug#586413: Tightvnc Debian Packages
Hei Karun, Below are some links you might find useful: o Debian New Maintainers' Guide[0] o Debian Developer Reference[1] o Debian Developers' Corner[2] [1]: https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/maint-guide/ [2]: https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#archive-manip [3]: https://www.debian.org/devel/ Worth mentioning that the debian-edu package recommends tightvncserver. Bug#759545: Ceni - Curses user interface for configuring network interfaces with ifupdown
Hi On Thursday 28 August 2014, Carlos Alberto Lopez Perez wrote: Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: k...@otaku42.de, bernard.g...@gmail.com, x-u...@berlios.de, s@gmx.de, andre...@debian.org * Package name: ceni Version : 2.28 Upstream Author : Kel Modderman k...@otaku42.de * URL : https://github.com/fullstory/ceni * License : GPL-2+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : Ceni - Curses interface to /etc/network/interfaces A Curses user interface for configuring network interfaces with ifupdown. Ceni can manage basic network interface ifupdown configuration stanzas for ethernet and wireless devices. Please note that Ceni doesn't have IPv6 support[1], which is the reason why neither of us has pushed it to Debian so far. Adding support for the various IPv6 flavours (static, SLAAC with and without privacy extensions, dhcpv6) would be reasonably possible, but isn't on the immediate to-do list, patches are of course welcome. Likewise for supporting the various IPv6 related tunneling protocols (6in4, 6t4, 6rd) or additional imginable functionality (PPPoE, VPN tunnels, etc.). If anyone were to step up to maintain this in Debian despite this known problem, we'd be happy to accommodate Ceni and help with its (existing) packaging as needed. Regards Stefan Lippers-Hollmann [1] Ceni doesn't deal with inet6 stanzas, which effectively means that ifupdown falls back to SLAAC (if available by the router) without privacy extensions enabled (privext 0). signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Bug#617296: Any Progress with RStudio?
Reading this bug's history it seems the removal of gwt from unstable stalled the packaging effort. I think gwt could be re-added to unstable since there is a new upstream release and the removal happened due to bugs not fixed for a long time. I would be interested in using an RStudio package and I'm willing to spend some time on it (but but I don't have enough free time to convert this RFP to ITP now :-)). It would be great if anyone who looked into packaging already would list the dependencies required for clean packaging potentially opening RFP-s for them and listing those RFP-s as blocking bugs here. Thus, SNGs representing elaborate graphics images and ancillary chunk data can be readily generated or modified using only text tools. . The package ldraw-parts contains the (architecture independent) part library and the package ldraw-mklist contains the (architecture dependent) program ldraw-mklist to create a parts.lst file. Package: ldraw-parts Description: LDraw LEGO(R) parts library Library of LDraw parts, part primitives and two example models. This part library is needed by 3D CAD programs such as MLCAD, LeoCAD and Konstruktor which allow to construct LEGO(R) models from individual LDraw parts. It is also needed by rendering software such as LDView and LdGLite. Package: ldraw-mklist Description: LDraw mklist program 3D CAD programs and rendering programs using the LDraw parts library of LEGO(R) parts rely on a file called parts.lst containing a list of all available parts. The program ldraw-mklist is used to generate this list from a directory of LDraw parts. Having this package in Debian is the prerequisite for packaging more of the tools mentioned above which depend on this part library. ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: ldraw-parts Source-Version: 1302+ds-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of ldraw-parts, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. It currently cleanly supports Python 2.6 - 3.4 using pies to achieve this without ugly hacks and/or py2to3. I use this and plan to maintain it in collab-maint. It is a fork of pyflakes (which seems to have become a bit stale) and is taken in by the python community. https://mail.python.org/pipermail/code-quality/2014-January/000212.html Another similar package is pep8. -- Per ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: frosted Source-Version: 1.4.1-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of frosted, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. The Jaguar was marketed as the first 64-bit video game system despite the fact that it was actually a 32-bit system at heart, just the blitter operated in 64-bit mode. The system was a commercial failure and eventually lead to Atari leaving the market for video game systems. This emulator features an intuitive user interface and emulation of all of the major subsystems of the Atari Jaguar console. This includes full GPU and DSP emulation as well as emulation of the Atari Jaguar CD. Most of the commercial Atari games are supported, albeit some of them have some minor glitches when running in the emulator. ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Source: virtualjaguar Source-Version: 2.1.0-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of virtualjaguar, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
