Awesome, thanks a lot! You did a really great job with integrating
ostree as a package with Debian, I didn't get that far back then when
working on it.
The package currently seems to have vanished from the archive index
pages, I guess it's just a temporary glitch...

Sounds good :) My idea would be a new team for bundled-apps, since
there's quite some software belonging into that category... (Maybe
something AppStream would fit in too)
But for now, I think, adding another team just to add another team is
useless if it's just us two working on it, so we can add a new team
when it's actually needed :-)

Thanks again for working on this!

Cheers,
Matthias

Hi,

  Description : AMBIsonics eXchange library

 libambix is a library of C routines for reading and writing files following the
 "ambix" (AMBIsonics eXchange) conventions.
 .
 Ambisonics is a periphonic (3D) surround sound technique, with a scalable
 spatial resolution (put simply: "the more audio channels you use, the better").
 The ambix convention defines an extensible format for exchanging soundfiles
 containing Higher Order Ambisonics data.

I intend to maintain this package within the pkg-multimedia-maintainers team.

  Description : find insertions and deletions in biological sequences

 The packaging is ready and about to surface on the Debian Med git repository.

 Dindel is a program for calling small indels from short-read sequence
 data ('next generation sequence data'). It currently is designed to
 handle only Illumina data.
 .
 Dindel requires a BAM file containing the read-alignments as input. It
 then extracts candidate indels from the BAM file, and realigns the reads
 to candidate haplotypes consisting of these candidate indels. If there
 is sufficient evidence for an alternative haplotype to the reference,
 it will call an indel.
 .
 It is possible to test indels discovered with other methods using Dindel,
 for instance longer indels obtained through assembly methods. Dindel
 will then realign both mapped and unmapped reads to see if the candidate
 indel is supported by the reads.
 .
 Dindel outputs both genotype likelihoods and includes a script to
 convert these to a VCF file with indel and SNP calls.

  Description : Mellanox(R) Technologies IO, Message, and RPC Acceleration
Library

Accelio is a high-performance asynchronous reliable messaging and RPC library
optimized for hardware acceleration. RDMA as well as other transport
implementations, such as TCP/IP, shared-memory, and others can take advantage
of efficient and convenient API.

Accelio is designed to maximize message and CPU parallelism, while minimizing
CPU contention and locking and enabling zero data copy communication
procedures. The result is an unparalleled performance gains as measured by
transactions per second, latency (Ping-Pong and under load), bandwidth, and CPU
overhead.

Accelio guarantees lossless end-to-end transaction delivery/execution, and
automatically recovers from communication failures or failed message delivery.
Accelio supports transactional request/replay communication model, or reliable
(acceptance of) messages.

Accelio aims to provide an easy-to-use, reliable, scalable, and high
performance data/message delivery middleware that maximizes the efficiency of
modern CPU and network infrastructure.

Right Encoding is added menu that set the character set on the context menu
(mouse right-click) on Firefox and Thunderbird.

Equivalent functionality already exists in Firefox/Iceweasel, but amazingly
Thunderbird/Icedove does not provide a way to temporarily override the encoding
for a single message. That's where this extension is most useful.

Bug#818871: ITP: gpvdm - General-purpose Photovoltaic Device Model

2016-03-21 Thread Roderick MacKenzie
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Roderick C I MacKenzie

* Package name: gpvdm
  Version : 4.40
  Upstream Author : Roderick C I MacKenzie
* URL : http://www.gpvdm.com
* License : GPL V2
  Programming Lang: C/python
  Description : A tool to simulate solar cells and OLEDs.

gpvdm is a tool for simulation and design of solar cells, used in harvesting
the sun's energy. It was originally written to model organic solar
cells and OLEDs, but it has recently been extended to simulate other
devices including silicon based devices. Currently the model can simulate;
Organic solar cells; Organic LEDs; Crystalline silicon solar cells (beta);
a-Si solar cells (beta) and CIGS solar cells (alpha).

The model can simulate: Dark JV curves; Light JV curves ; Dark/Light
CELIV transients; Dark/Light photo-CELIV transients; Transient Photo
Current (TPC); Transient Photo Voltage (TPV) ; Impedance Spectroscopy
(IS); Voltage transients of an arbitrary shape; Full optical model taking into
account reflection at interfaces and absorption and calculation of
reflection profile

The physical model solves both electron and hole drift-diffusion, and
carrier continuity equations in position space to describe the movement
of charge within the device. The model also solves Poisson's equation
to calculate the internal electrostatic potential. Recombination and
carrier trapping are described within the model using a Shockley-Read-Hall
(SRH) formalism, the distribution of trap sates can be arbitrarily defined.
All equations can be solved either in steady state or in time domain.
 .
 This package contains the main executable.

   * Prepare package for Debian (Closes: #697477)
   * Set the Utopia Maintenance Team as maintainer, with myself and
 Matthias Klumpp as uploaders
   * Add Vcs-Git, Vcs-Browser (in collab-maint git)
   * Remove unnecessary use of dh-exec
   * Remove -dbg package, rely on automatic dbgsym packages instead
   * debian/.gitignore: add
   * debian/copyright: fill in all copyright holders
   * Normalize packaging via `wrap-and-sort -abst`
   * Adjust Section for the packages
   * Run the tests with VERBOSE=1
   * Install the new systemd user services
   * Run dh_install with --fail-missing to catch mistakes
   * Rename libxdgapp to the correct libxdg-app0 corresponding to
 libxdg-app.so.0
   * Rename libxdgapp-dev to libxdg-app-dev for consistency
   * Stop disabling the test that relies on FUSE; it is now correctly
 skipped if appropriate
   * Re-enable gtk-doc and add a libxdg-app-doc package
   * Add libxdg-app0.symbols
   * Add missing development dependencies
   * Set ${libexecdir} to /usr/lib/xdg-app, to avoid the toolchain getting
 confused by PIE executables in ${libexecdir} and treating them as
 incorrectly-named shared libraries
   * xdg-app-builder: reduce non-mandatory build tools to Recommends
   * xdg-app-builder: do not depend on tar, which is Essential
   * Fill in better values for Description
   * Depend on libpam-systemd (i.e. a working systemd-logind),
 because xdg-app currently relies on systemd to put user processes
 in cgroups
   * Run tests once via check-TESTS, but do not run them a second time
 via gtester, which fails because all test-cases in one test might
 be skipped
   * debian/control: document how to enable user namespaces
   * Only build for Linux: this package is specifically not portable

 Django Admin Sortable enables adding drag-and-drop ordering to any model in
 Django admin. Inlines for a sortable model may also be made sortable, enabling
 individual items or groups of items to be sortable.

I will likely package it myself, likely within the python-modules project (git
on Alioth).
