The package description is: Icicles lets you do the following: * cycle through completion candidates that match your current input. * use a pattern to match completion candidates, including: - regexp matching (including substring). - fuzzy matching. - prefix matching (as in vanilla Emacs). - command abbreviation matching. * use multiple regexps to match candidates, chaining these filters together like piped 'grep' commands. * see all possible complete inputs (pertinent commands, variables, and so on) that match your partial or regexp input: the list is updated dynamically (incrementally) if you change your input. * see all previous inputs that match your partial or regexp input, and selectively reuse them. * match input against completion candidates that do not match a given regexp; that is, complement the set of matches and use the result for subsequent matching. * use multiple regexps to search (and replace) text across multiple buffers, files, or regions. * search areas of text that have a certain text property, such as a face. * browse Imenu or tags entries that match your partial or regexp input. * create and use multiple-choice menus; that is, menus where you can choose multiple entries any number of times. * create and use multi-commands so you can perform an action on any number of candidate inputs any number of times. * perform set operations (intersection, union, etc) on the fly, using sets of completion candidates or other strings. * persistently save and later reuse sets of completion candidates (e.g. project file names). * complete input piecewise, against multiple completion candidates, in parallel. * complete key sequences, and navigate the key-binding hierarchy (this includes the menu bar menu hierarchy) (see also LaCarte) * sort completion candidates on the fly, in multiple, context-dependent ways. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Version: 23.0+20130423-4+rm Dear submitter, as the package icicles has just been removed from the Debian archive unstable we hereby close the associated bug reports. Then browse-kill-ring.el is for you. Note that the command keeps track of the last window displayed to handle insertion of chosen text; this might have unexpected consequences if you do 'M-x browse-kill-ring', then switch your window configuration, and try to use the same *Kill Ring* buffer again.

Bug#860396: retitle mozjs38 ITP to mozjs52

Hi, I'm not at DebConf, but others from the Debian GNOME team are. Packaging of mozjs52 is already done at https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-gnome/mozjs52.git Jordi sponsored it into the new queue. Hopefully, it won't take long too there because it's required to get a newer gnome-shell. Maybe Cinnamon will be able to follow GNOME to port to mozjs52 soon? The Debian GNOME team isn't interested in uploading mozjs38, but the packaging is in the mozjs38.git repo if you need it (it was needed for Ubuntu 17.04). Thanks, Jeremy Bicha

Well, obviously not entirely as complete but the BSDs (and libbsd otherwise) do have something like . BTW, I noticed when I checked the implementation that you are using HAVE_BITFIELD_H as the header macro protector, but that's actually a bad idea, as with the typical autoconf based build-system that macro will already be defined if the build-system does something like AC_CHECK_HEADERS([bitfield.h]), which means the contents will be secluded. Bug#870826: ITP: python-wither -- XML/HTML Generation DSL
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mike Gabriel * Package name: python-wither Version : 1.1 Upstream Author : Da Blitz * URL : https://pypi.python.org/pypi/wither/ * License : BSD-3-clause Programming Lang: Python Description : XML/HTML Generation DSL Wither is a library designed to make XML generation under python as simple and as nicely formatted as Python code. . Wither is implemented as a thin stateless wrapper around etree.Element objects and works by making use of the ‘with’ keyword in Python to build a nested tree of etree objects that can be processed with standard tools/techniques . by using Python as a DSL you can automatically ensure that all tags are properly closed and also execute arbitrary python code to build things such as lists or to embed widgets . This package is needed for getting web-greeter (aka lightdm-webkit2-greeter) into Debian and will be maintained under the python-modules umbrella with co- maintenace from the pkg-mate team's side.

I find the project and package name exceedingly generic for an implementation of a thing that is very domain specific. Could you try to get upstream to rename it to something else less generic? Various namespaces in something like Debian are global resources that affect all of us, and curating and preserving them in a meaningful way is very important! :) Thanks, Guillem

It uses Python's datetime class under the hood so, code already using datetime should be able to easily switch to udatetime. All datetime objects created by udatetime are timezone aware. I plan to maintain this within the DPMT team. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: python-udatetime Source-Version: 0.0.12-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of python-udatetime, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
