Description : Go library to transform words from singular to plural (Git
fork)

 Forked from originall Mercurial-based https://bitbucket.org/pkg/inflect,
this Go library transforms words from singular to plural, class names to
table names, modularized class names to ones without, and class names to
foreign keys. The default inflections for pluralization, singularization,
and uncountable words are kept in inflect.go.
 .
Originally ported from the ActiveSupport::Inflector module from
 Ruby on Rails.

Reason for packaging:
Needed by the newly released Hugo 0.26, which has switched from
 github.com/bep/inflect (provided by golang-bitbucket-pkg-inflect-dev)
 to the better-maintained github.com/markbates/inflect.

Description : The Free and Open Source Wiki

Foswiki is an enterprise collaboration and information sharing tool
targeted for professional use in many types of companies: from small
businesses to large organizations.

Foswiki is the old TWiki project under a new name. Restrictions on the
use of the TWiki brand has resulted in many of its developers to
continue the project under the new Foswiki name.

As TWiki was removed from lenny, having foswiki packaged for Debian is
all the more important.

Thanks in advance.

Bug#793057: ITP: godot -- open source MIT licensed game engine

2017-08-07 Thread Kienan Stewart
I've had a first pass at creating a package for godot :
https://mentors.debian.net/package/godot

There are some lintian warnings to clear up, and I was wondering a bit about
the following

 * builds only support amd64 at the moment
 * how to handle packaging godot 3.0 when it's available (an alpha is currently
out)

Once I find some time to clear up the lintian warnings, I'll do the RFS
procedure following the mentor's guide and

Bug#871443: RFA: nanomsg -- a fast, scalable communications library

2017-08-07 Thread Harlan Lieberman-Berg
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I request an adopter for the nanomsg package. As I'm no longer using
this library, I'm having trouble giving it attention. At this point,
the library is pretty stable; there are some strange issues with
some of the more exotic architectures that have been a persistant
problem over the last couple of years, but upstream hasn't entirely
been responsive.

The package description is:
nanomsg is a socket library that provides several common
communication patterns. It aims to make the networking layer fast,
scalable, and easy to use. Implemented in C, it works on a wide range
of operating systems with no further dependencies.
 .
The communication patterns, also called "scalability protocols", are
basic blocks for building distributed systems. By combining them you
can create a vast array of distributed applications. The following
 scalability protocols are currently available:
 .
 PAIR - simple one-to-one communication
 BUS - simple many-to-many communication
REQREP - allows one to build clusters of stateless services
 to process user requests
PUBSUB - distributes messages to large sets of interested subscribers
PIPELINE - aggregates messages from multiple sources and
load balances them among many destinations
SURVEY - allows one to query state of multiple applications in a single go
 .
This package contains the development files for nanomsg.

Ah :)

I guess that was mostly a habit.

I'd say just you and me. I'm not aware of real a11y use.

Shall I keep the Debian A11Y team in there (I'm a member there, too,

Changes:
 courier-unicode (1.4-4) experimental; urgency=medium
 .
   * Take over the package. Closes: #848979.
   * Update d/watch to ignore development snapshots.
   * Rename libcourier-unicode1 to libcourier-unicode3 to match
the SONAME of the library. Add a symbols file.
   * Drop autotools-dev, use only dh-autoreconf.
   * Update Vcs-* and Homepage to use https.
   * Bump S-V: no changes required.
   * Use different long descriptions for the two binary packages.
   * d/rules: Save and restore original source files to allow for
 subsequent builds to work.
   * d/rules: Move down the inclusion of default.mk, so the
 hardening=+all actually takes effect.
   * Disable only LineBreak- and WordBreakTests, enable all others,
 with patch 0002-Disable-Failing-Tests.patch
   * Add a Breaks+Replaces against libcourier-unicode1, as it
 provided libcourier-unicode.so.3.0.0.

Do you intent to maintain the package under the Debian A11Y Team? I'm
also interested in a properly maintained gpm in Debian and would join
you as second co-maintainer. (And I have a good contact to upstream.)

Bug#871421: RFP: tcpproxy -- a simple tcp connection proxy that supports ipv6

2017-08-07 Thread Sebastian Schweizer
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

"tcpproxy is a simple tcp connection proxy which combines the features
of rinetd and 6tunnel. tcpproxy supports IPv4 and IPv6 and also supports
connections from IPv6 to IPv4 endpoints and vice versa."

Since rinetd does not support IPv6 I was looking for alternatives and
found this software.

URL: https://spreadspace.org/tcpproxy/

The man page can be accessed here:
https://www.gsp.com/cgi-bin/man.cgi?section=8=tcpproxy

tcpproxy has been available as an official openwrt package since June
2014, so it should be very mature by now.

I request an adopter for the ekg package.
I no longer use it and don't have time nor interest to maintain it.

The package description is:
EKG ("Eksperymentalny Klient Gadu-Gadu") is an open source
Gadu-Gadu client for UNIX systems. Gadu-Gadu is an instant
messaging program, very popular in Poland.
 .
 EKG features include:
   - irssi-like ncurses interface with mouse support
   - sending and receiving files
   - voice conversations
   - launching shell commands on certain events
   - reading input from pipe
   - Python scripting support
   - speech synthesis (using an external program)
   - encryption support
 .
Please note that the program is not internationalized and all messages are in
Polish (although the commands are in English).
 .
This package contains the program built with just the (text) ncurses user
interface. If you want to use the GTK+ graphical interface, install the
 ekg-gtk package as well.

Bug#841301: ITP: libwlc -- wlc a compositor library for Wayland

2017-08-07 Thread Stefanos Boglou
Hallo Markus,

seems like sway, the window manager I was targeting to package, is
(was) moving away from wlc
and I think wlc itself was marked as a deprecated project so I decided
to pause my effort until
everything is cleared up. I haven't done any tests for at least 5
months but the biggest one
was sometimes (I think in applications through Xwayland) when you
right clicked somewhere
sway would crash. I think that was wlc bug tho not sure.

I could restart the effort. Should be easy enough.
I could publish the git somewhere and send you access. Could you
please mail me a public ssh key?
I should have something that works® by the day after tomorrow or even
faster if you would prefer
to play with it during debconf.

Have you tried way-cooler at all? Is it usable?

Regards,
Stefanos

I'm interested in libwlc as well and wonder what the status of your

Seems fixed in 0.0.10.

Yeah, I don't think it warrants its own package just yet.

Sure, usually one of the later things.

I'm currently interested in way-cooler as well (not in any way stating
I'm going to package that one, though).

Are you aware of any specific libwlc bugs?

I'm a DD and could help you package the library and/or act as a sponsor,
if you wish.
