Bug#833397: RFP: commix -- Automated All-in-One OS Command Injection and Exploitation Tool
I was going to package commix until i realized that it Depends on metasploit-framework (at least the Kali package does). Bug#898667: O: pstotext -- Extract text from PostScript and PDF files
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I intend to orphan the pstotext package. The package description is: pstotext extracts text (in the ISO 8859-1 character set) from a PostScript or PDF (Portable Document Format) file. Thus, pstotext is similar to the ps2ascii program that comes with ghostscript. The output of pstotext is however better than that of ps2ascii, because pstotext deals better with punctuation and ligatures. There is no active upstream, last release was in 2004. I no longer use the software regularly and recent grave bug #895513 [1] touches security issues which should be sorted out by someone who is actually proficient in PostScript. Anyone considering adopting this package should also consider adopting and reviving the upstream. [1] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=895513
