Bug#907843: ITP: salome-smesh -- Numerical simulation pre- and post-processor - standalone SMESH module
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Kurt Kremitzki * Package name: salome-smesh Version : 8.3.0.3 Upstream Author : Trevor Laughlin * URL : https://github.com/LaughlinResearch/SMESH * License : LGPL-2.1 Programming Lang: C++ Description : Numerical simulation pre- and post-processor - standalone SMESH module Salomé is a pre- and post-processor for numerical simulations. It can import CAD files in IGES and STEP formats, facilitates component integration in heterogeneous systems, and has a user-friendly GUI as well as a Python console with all of the platform functionality. . This SMESH package is a fork by Laughlin Research adding standalone functionality as well as support for Netgen 6 and OpenCASCADE 7. . This package contains the Salomé SMESH module. This package is a standalone fork of SMESH from the Salome Platform, which was removed from Debian in 2012 (see #657433.) Eventually it is my goal to upstream these improvements and reintroduce the Salome Platform, but the complexity of it in its entirety is at least an order of magnitude more than this standalone package. Most importantly, packaging this standalone fork will allow for the removal of FreeCAD's bundled copy of SMESH. This fork is already battle-tested in the Conda distribution of FreeCAD. I plan on maintaining this within the Science Team.

Package: wnpp Owner: gregor herrmann Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, debian-p...@lists.debian.org * Package name: libmoox-traits-perl Version : 0.005 Upstream Author : Toby Inkster (TOBYINK) * URL : https://metacpan.org/release/MooX-Traits * License : Artistic or GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : module to automatically apply roles at object creation time Like MooseX::Traits, the MooX::Traits module provides a method to add some roles to a class when creating it (during new), only for Moo. Although called MooX::Traits, this module actually uses Role::Tiny, so doesn't really require Moo. If you use it in a non-Moo class, you should be able to safely consume any Role::Tiny-based traits. If you use it in a Moo class, you should also be able to consume Moo::Role-based traits and Moose::Role-based traits. The application/x-www-form-urlencoded format encodes an ordered data set of pairs consisting of a name and a value, with pairs separated by ampersand or semicolon, and names and values separated by the equal sign. Space characters are replaced with a plus sign, and any character not in the unreserved character set is encoded using the percent-encoding scheme also used for resource identifiers. A percent-encoded octet is encoded as a character triplet, consisting of the percent character "%" followed by the two hexadecimal digits representing that octet's numeric value. The unreserved character set includes the uppercase and lowercase letters, decimal digits, hyphen, period, underscore, and tilde. Bug#724718: Dependency status for flexget 2.14.19 (2018-08-26)
Here's another update on the dependency situation for FlexGet. Things are looking good because upstream FlexGet has been updating the dependency versions for several tricky packages so that shortly even guessit should point to the latest major version. Description-en: discover and fingerprint IKE hosts (IPsec VPN Servers) ike-scan discovers IKE hosts and can also fingerprint them using the retransmission backoff pattern. . ike-scan does two things: . a) Discovery: Determine which hosts are running IKE. This is done by displaying those hosts which respond to the IKE requests sent by ike-scan. . b) Fingerprinting: Determine which IKE implementation the hosts are using. This is done by recording the times of the IKE response packets from the target hosts and comparing the observed retransmission backoff pattern against known patterns. . The retransmission backoff fingerprinting concept is discussed in more detail in the UDP backoff fingerprinting paper which should be included in the ike-scan kit as udp-backoff-fingerprinting-paper.txt. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: ike-scan Source-Version: 1.9.4-2 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of ike-scan, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. Bug#881379: Retitle #881379 to ITP
I played around with CardBook and picked up the packaging thing Minkush hast done and merged all together into git tree + git-buildpackage based Debian workflow. If someone want's to pick up feel free to take the git tree from https://salsa.debian.org/tijuca/cardbook and adjust to your needs. I've installed the package that is built from the source but didn't have done any deeper testing. The packaging is using mozilla-devscripts with the web_ext debhelper snippet so the package name is fulfill the current name schema related to the introduction of WebExtension in FF and TB. Also feel free to ask for a sponsorship if required. Regards Carsten
Bug#906250: ITP: execline -- small and non-interactive scripting language
Dear -devel, When I try to package execline(a non-interactive shell script)[1], it installs following binaries in default PATH, cd, if, exec, wait, Some facts: * These names are other shells built-in, but in execline these are binaries. * There's no conflict binary name in archive currently. * If I install them in path like /usr/lib/execline/bin, then I need to ensure this path are in everyone's PATH. I find this package has option like `--enable-absolute-paths`, but as a result it doesn't work as I expect. When I contact upstream[2], upstream thinks these binaries should be in default PATH. Any advice with packaging, can I install these binaries in default PATH(like /usr/bin)?
