Bug#941246: RFP: elpa-ansible -- ansible syntax highlighting, completion, and yasnippet templates for Emacs
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: elpa-ansible Version : 0.2.0 Upstream Author : Ken’ichiro Oyama * URL : https://github.com/k1LoW/emacs-ansible * License : not licensed? Programming Lang: elisp Description : ansible syntax highlighting, completion, and yasnippet templates for Emacs Ansible (already in Debian) is a configuration management tool. Ansible file format is a combination of YAML (structured data) and jinja2 (templates). elpa-yaml (already in Debian) is mostly sufficient; adding ansible.el gives some domain-specific syntax highlighting. e.g. yaml-mode colors these lines the same; ansible.el colors the first line specially (because it has special meaning to Ansible). name: foo bar: baz ansible.el also has some stuff to auto-complete ansible keywords (e.g. "na" --> "name"), and some basic yasnippet-based templates. I (Trent Buck) personally do not care about those features.

The package description is: Visual is a Python module for 3D scientific visualization. It offers real-time 3D output and is easily usable by novice programmers. . A program can create 3D objects (such as spheres, curves, etc.) and position them in 3D space. Visual, running in a separate thread, automatically updates a 3D scene many times per second to reflect the current position of the objects. The programmer does not need to deal with display management but can focus on the computational aspects for the program. The user can navigate in the 3D scene by using the mouse to zoom and rotate while the program is running. Bug#849703: ITP: ansible-doc -- Documentation for Ansible
Hi everyone, I'm closing this ansible-doc ITP bug because it appears to obsolesced most recently by: ansible (2.7.5+dfsg-1) unstable; urgency=medium * New upstream release - fix for CVE-2018-16876 (Closes: #916102) * Remove any loading of external resources from the docs * Only symlink JS that dh_sphinxdoc doesn't take care of * Override lintian for a long line in layout.html * Build ansible-doc again (Closes: #848871) * Add build-depends to python-jinja2 (Closes: #915316) * Bump Standards-Version (no changes needed) -- Lee Garrett Wed, 19 Dec 2018 11:35:55 +0100 Cheers, Nicholas signature.asc Description: PGP signature
Bug#905246: team Emacsen found a mistake in my declared Section
Hi Jonathan, Thank you very much for sponsoring this package :-) I hate to bother you about the following, but bremner (from Team Emacsen) pointed out that we're now using "Section: Editors" for plugins/addons/themes like this one rather than the old catch-all "Section: Lisp". That's my mistake, and I'm sorry for missing it. It would require ftpmaster action to fix, so I have uploaded an updated package to mentors, and would appreciate it if you would overwrite the current package in NEW. Once again, sorry for the extra work. Bremner also pointed out that I ought to adapt README.md to remove irrelevant/misleading MELPA instructions, so I also went ahead and did that. Finally, I merged some copyright years, to make ftpmasters happier. Hi Antoine, > [...] > Could you hook up the test suite in autopkgtest somehow? I prepared a debian/tests/control, but upstream's test suite does not successfully run on any of my Debian machines, neither when I run 'tox' (as suggested in docs/contributing.rst), nor if I call pytest-3 directly. I contacted upstream, but did not yet get a reply.
