I intend to orphan the flask-babel package. I no longer have any interest in it.

The package description is:
Flask-Babel is an extension to Flask that adds internationalization and
localization support. It has a friendly interface to gettext translations and
 supports date formatting with timezones.

Bug#1051500: RFS: golang-github-jesseduffield-lazycore and its dependency [ITP]

2023-09-08 Thread Jongmin Kim
Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for two packages:

  golang-github-samber-lo #1051506 (lo)
  golang-github-jesseduffield-lazycore #1051500 (lazycore)

Please note that, "lo" is a dependency of "lazycore". So "lo" should be
uploaded first.

These packages are prerequisite for the package "lazygit" (#908894)[1,2].

  [1] https://bugs.debian.org/908894
  [2] https://github.com/jesseduffield/lazygit-debian/wiki/Dependency-graph

I pushed to Go team's Salsa:

  https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-samber-lo
  https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-jesseduffield-lazycore

The package was tested on both gbp and sbuild.
The package has 1 lintian warning:

(package-has-long-file-name) due to following the Go Debian package naming
convention.

Could you please reviewing/sponsoring this?
Any kind of reviews and suggestions are appreciated.

Control: affects -1 src:muse-el

Muse-el has been kept in good shape for five years, but I now lack
sufficient time/interest to solve RC bug #1016335, so it's clear that
I should step aside and let someone else take care of the package. In
that bug, QuickStart.pdf is no longer generated from QuickStart.muse,
so yes, it seems like an important one that will affect the 100 or
more users of this package. I'm guessing a recent change in texinfo
caused the regression.

Muse-el is currently maintained by the Debian Emacsen Team, and the
new maintainer may wish to keep it under team maintenance, so here
are convenience links to begin work immediately:

  Writeable remote: g...@salsa.debian.org:emacsen-team/muse-el.git
  Vcs-Git: https://salsa.debian.org/emacsen-team/muse-el.git
  Vcs-Browser: https://salsa.debian.org/emacsen-team/muse-el
  Homepage: https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs-muse/index.html

This was the first package I adopted, and I think it was probably the
first one I was granted DM for; as often happens, workflows and tastes
change, I haven't used muse-el for a while, and have been holding onto
it for sentimental reasons.

#1016335 will need to be resolved before February 2023 for muse-el to be part
of Debian bookworm.

Regards,
Nicholas

Bug#1051482: ITP: slowloris -- Security testing tool for web servers

2023-09-08 Thread Josenilson Ferreira da Silva
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Josenilson Ferreira da Silva
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, nilsonfsi...@hotmail.com

* Package name: slowloris
  Version : 0.14.2
  Upstream Contact: Gokberk Yaltirakli
* URL : https://github.com/gkbrk/slowloris
* License : MIT/Expat
  Programming Lang: Python
Description : Security testing tool for web servers

Open source tool used to perform Denial of Service (DoS) attacks on web
servers. Slowloris exploits a vulnerability in web servers called “Keep-Alive”
to exhaust server resources and make them inaccessible.
 .
Slowloris offers a number of configurable options, allowing fine-grained
control over request behavior. Some of which include:
  - Web Server Port: It is possible to specify the web server port to be
the target of the action, usually port 80.
  - Number of Sockets: You can determine the number of simultaneous sockets
that the tool will use to send requests to the server.
  - Log Increase (Verbose): The level of detail of the information logged
during the run can be adjusted, allowing a more detailed analysis of the
results.
  - User agent randomization: Slowloris can randomize user agents on each
request, making it difficult to detect the destination server.
  - Use of SOCKS5 proxy: The tool supports the use of a SOCKS5 proxy to further
hide the source of requests.
  - Use of HTTPS for Requests: In addition, it is possible to configure the
tool to use the HTTPS protocol for requests, adding another layer of
obscurity.
  - Time interval between headers: You can specify a time interval between
sending request headers, controlling the rate of requests.
