The origin of that code seems to be
svn://svn.caucho.com/resin/tags/4.0.14/modules/jcr.
It is licensed under GPL-2+.
Is that possible even when the APIs released by Day Software are more
restrictive?

Bug#589450: RFP: jackrabbit -- Content Repository for Java (WebDAV, RMI and Web)

2011-01-28 Thread Miguel Landaeta
I found this code
https://github.com/CleverCloud/Quercus/tree/master/modules/jcr/src/javax/jcr
for the JCR API and it seems to be licensed under GPL-2+.

I'm going to investigate about the origin of this code later since
I was also interested in the packaging of Jackrabbit.

Cheers,

Last time I checked, Jackrabbit depended on the JCR API which was
non-free. See #531444 for a discussion.
