Bug#948384: abandoning elasticsearch
Control: retitle -1 RFP: elasticsearch -- "Open Source" (but non-free and not OSI-compliant), Distributed, RESTful Search Engine Control: tag -1 + wontfix Hi, Kartik Kulkarni wrote: > Due to lack of time and other constraints last year I was unable to > look into the package at all and I think it's better for someone else > to package it. Nobody will gonna package this for Debian anymore since they changed their license to the non-free SSPL. MongoDB got kicked out because of doing that. Tagging as wontfix for now. > I do not know if I should just put it back as RFP Yes. > but for now I have retitled it as O. That's wrong as "O:" is just for packages _already_ in Debian. I'm retitling it back to RFP with this mail accordingly. Bug#948384: abandoning elasticsearch
Due to lack of time and other constraints last year I was unable to look into the package at all and I think it's better for someone else to package it. I do not know if I should just put it back as RFP but for now I have retitled it as O. I apologize for holding it for so long and not giving it back sooner. Regards, Kartik Kulkarni
