That's so wierd. Can you try 'make clean' and the build it again?

I tried it, it didn't help. In your repository, where is the
 Configure-the-Base-System entity defined?

It's autodefined using the files in utilities/dbootstrap/po/*
The script po2sgml does this.

Re: News/20011207?

2001-11-26 Thread Giuseppe Sacco
That was done because the news is related to an event that will
start on that date. We had some problems with bounced emails announcing
the news to debian-news so not everyone know about it yet. Sorry.

Should the file be renamed to the date of the post?

Bye,
Giuseppe

Why is there a news item in the 2001 directory indicating that it is

That would make it consistent with all the other news items, so, yes, I

Emacs wml-mode?

2001-11-26 Thread Mikael Hedin
Hi there,

I guess some of you must be using emacs to edit the wml pages. What
major-mode do you use? Haven't found any wml-mode, and the html-mode
I use is rather annoying. Thankfull for any suggestion.

Fixed version of favicon.ico

2001-11-26 Thread Jeff Albro

I was able to use a windows graphics program to create a .ico file with
16x16 and 32x32 icons embedded. I tried using several linux programs
first with no success.

Check out:

If this is used to replace the current favicon.ico file the problem with
the www.debian.org bookmark icon should be fixed.

doing a similar page for Swedish with mirrors in Sweden and Finland,

 the actual mirrors list.

The problem with this is the usual problem in figuring out where a site
is actually located. Additionally, geographic location often has little
relation to how good a connection that a person has to a site.
