Bug#654973: xorg: screen lock on thinkpad t30 when laptop lid closed
Package: xorg Version: 1:7.5+8+squeeze1 Severity: normal On my thinkpad t30, after installing Debian Squeeze, I configured the power management to only blank the screen when the lid is closed. For some unknown reason there is no do nothing option. When the lid is closed and reopened, the screen displays random garbage and does not recover. A reboot fixes it. On further experimentation, I found that if I run fluxbox I don't have this problem. It only happens in gnome.
