Bug#555294: xserver-xorg-video-ivtv: TV output on Hauppauge PVR 350 stops working after upgrade
Package: xserver-xorg-video-ivtv Version: 1.0.1-1 Severity: normal I upgraded a Knoppmyth system using apt-get update ; apt-get dist-upgrade, and the TV output via the PVR-350's composite out stopped working. The X11 server seems to be starting up fine, but nothing ultimately shows up on my television. It acts like it's not see a signal at all on the composite video in. Oddly enough, I can connect to the X11 server from another machine via LAN using xvnc4viewer, and that looks just fine. r...@mythtv:/usr/share/doc/ivtv-utils# lsmod Module Size Used by autofs416452 0 rfcomm 28272 0 l2cap 17248 5 rfcomm bluetooth 44996 4 rfcomm,l2cap ppdev 6468 0 parport_pc 22500 0 lp 8164 0 parport30988 3 ppdev,parport_pc,lp battery10180 0 nfsd 186864 17 auth_rpcgss33952 1 nfsd exportfs3936 1 nfsd nfs 214216 0 lockd 54568 2 nfsd,nfs nfs_acl 2912 2 nfsd,nfs sunrpc162528 13 nfsd,auth_rpcgss,nfs,lockd,nfs_acl wlan_tkip 10272 2 jfs 148940 1 nls_base6820 1 jfs ipv6 235396 31 fuse 42908 1 tea5767 6020 0 mt20xx 10824 0 arc41824 0 serio_raw 4740 0 crc_itu_t 2080 0 pcmcia 29548 0 yenta_socket 20620 0 rsrc_nonstatic 9504 1 yenta_socket pcmcia_core31892 3 pcmcia,yenta_socket,rsrc_nonstatic sbp2 18572 0 ohci1394 24976 0 ieee1394 75832 2 sbp2,ohci1394 usb_storage77120 0 ohci_hcd 18532 0 cx88_vp3054_i2c 2528 0 cx8802 13604 0 cx88xx 61704 1 cx8802 saa7134_dvb17420 0 saa7134 125044 1 saa7134_dvb ir_kbd_i2c 7120 1 saa7134 videobuf_dvb4580 1 saa7134_dvb nvram 7116 0 dvb_bt8xx 13316 0 dvb_core 66528 3 saa7134_dvb,videobuf_dvb,dvb_bt8xx bt878 8792 1 dvb_bt8xx bttv 148116 2 dvb_bt8xx,bt878 ir_common 39620 4 cx88xx,saa7134,ir_kbd_i2c,bttv i2c_piix4 7216 0 # cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 8 model name : Pentium III (Coppermine) stepping: 3 cpu MHz : 701.596 cache size : 256 KB fdiv_bug: no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug: no coma_bug: no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp

Bug#451264: xserver-xorg: Intel 915GM laptop hangs whole system somes when shutting down or switching to virtual terminal
Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.3+3 Severity: normal I've got a laptop with the following display: 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) Occasionally, when shutting down X11 or when switch to a virtual terminal (i.e., Ctrl-Alt-F1), my screen goes mostly black (with several light gray boxes), and the whole system locks up. Once it's locked up, I can't do anything other than force a power down. I've tried Ctrl-Alt-Del, Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, Ctrl-Alt-F1. The LEDs down change when I press Caps lock. I haven't SysRq Raising Elephants... because the laptop keyboard makes it hard. The problem seems to occur more frequently when the machine has been booted for longer periods of time. -- Package-specific info: Contents of /var/lib/x11/X.roster: xserver-xorg /etc/X11/X target does not match checksum in /var/lib/x11/X.md5sum. Bug#446385: xserver-xorg: single mouse click registers as double click
I am experiencing this issue, and I haven't been able to find any configuration changes that make a difference. I've tried using /dev/psaux, /dev/input/mouse0, /dev/input/mice as the device. I've verified with xev that X is seeing two button press and two button release events. Do you have any other suggestions? I am going on the road with my Debian laptop and the double click issue is pretty annoying. Tom -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#345476: xserver-xorg: Logitech MX518 scroll mouse stops working with latest upgrade
Package: xserver-xorg Version: 6.9.0.dfsg.1-1 Severity: normal The scroll wheel on my Logitech MX518 stopped working after I just upgraded the X11 related files (on Debian unstabled).
