Yeah, as testing is currently frozen an unblock request is required to unblock xorg-server/2:1.20.4-1 and thus allow it to migrate to testing. I see that this landed in unstable (in the next upstream release) but testing is still affected, as it's frozen. I installed testing in a new machine and I have hit this crasher again. I think this should be considered serious enough to be fixed in testing/upcoming stable.
