That's mainly because I don't build with gbp, but rather directly with pbuilder. To be fair, the git workflow is not really settled right now, and quite possibility not completely consistent across the packages. You should be able to get the orig.tar.gz using uscan in any case, though. Regards, -- Yves-Alexis signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Xfce packages on salsa missing pristine-tar
Hi! Trying to build some Xfce packages from a gbp checkout results in failure because of missing the pristine-tar branch. Is this simply due to you having forgot to push the branch, or is some other workflow intended where I generate the pristine-tar myself? This is at least the case for xfce4-panel xfce4-sensors-plugin but probably others as well. I would gladly help out with Xfce packaging, now that you have migrated from SVN packaging to gbp. best -- Andreas Rönnquist mailingli...@gusnan.se gus...@debian.org [Please don't CC me, if I mail to a mailinglist, I am subscribed to it.]
Bug#856309: xfce4-panel: "Welcome" prompt is misguided; default to a useful config
Package: xfce4-panel Version: 4.13.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #856309 Forwarded: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14388 I just had a user run into this, necessitating a wipe of ~/ and a reboot to get rid of the config daemon. I agree with Jonathan's recommendation for the dialog to be removed and just the default to be used. Also, the issue is still present on 4.12.2-1 and 4.13.3-1. I've taken the liberty to forward this to the XFCE issue tracker. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.15.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages xfce4-panel depends on: ii exo-utils0.12.0-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.28.1-1 ii libc62.27-3 ii libcairo21.15.10-2 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.6-2 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.110-2 ii libexo-1-0 0.12.0-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.12.6-0.1 ii libfreetype6 2.8.1-2 ii libgarcon-1-00.6.1-2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.11-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.56.0-5 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.32-1 ii libice6 2:1.0.9-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.42.0-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.42.0-1 ii libpangoft2-1.0-01.42.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.2-1+b3 ii libwnck222.30.7-5.1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.5-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1+b2 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.13.3-1 ii libxfce4util74.13.0-1 ii libxfconf-0-24.12.1-1 xfce4-panel recommends no packages. xfce4-panel suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To use raw power is to make yourself infinitely vulnerable to greater powers. -- Bene Gesserit axiom signature.asc Description: PGP signature
